Visited Baronessa Italian Restaurant over the weekend. Service was great, and expeditious. I was greeted upon entering, and served immediately by the restaurant staff. The atmosphere, and ambiance were very pleasant, and inviting, making for a very pleasant mood!! The menu is catered towards Italian food, which they have a wide variety of. I tried the original pepperoni pizza, and I must say it was extremely delicious, freshly made, and cooked in the wood-burning stove, and served piping hot!! Very delicious indeed. I also had beer, and sangria, which were both fixed well, and quite tasty. I was given a tour of the establishment as well, and I was completely impressed!! I would rate Baronessa as exceptional, and recommend the establishment to all my friends, and family!!

Two generations of my family have been coming to Baronessa since they first opened. We keep coming back because its the next best thing to eating at home. The owner, Antonia, makes everyone feel welcome. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. I tend to stick with my favorites and havent even scratched the surface of the extensive menu here. The ravioli is tender in a flavorful sauce. The real standout here is the veal - either scallopine or Marsala. The garden salad and bread are great starters. I do have a pet peeve about soggy canoli, which seems to be more the norm these days, however, at Baroness, the canoli shells are filled when ordered and are always crispy.

This place is BEYOND amazing!!! I ordered their seafood pasta, and my date ordered their lasagna, and they were both absolutely to die for. The seafood pasta came with shrimp, mussels, calamari, and scallops and all were cooked perfectly tender and delicious. They were beautifully arranged over spaghetti, which was wonderfully thick and filling, and served in a garlic olive oil sauce. I havent had such amazing pasta since I actually had been in Italy! The lasagna was packed with noodles and the sauce was extremely flavorful. We most certainly will be coming back again! Also, as of 5/27/17 they have a 20% off coupon on their website and are going to be doing brick oven pizza soon!

The food was okay, but I probably wouldnt go back. I got the Canelloni Alla Fiorentina, and it was way too rich for me. I could only eat half and did not feel well afterwords. Maybe I just dont have a tolerance for such rich foods anymore, but my husband and mom also felt that their food was just okay.

We were here for lunch and were happy that we stopped by. I had the Lasagna and it was very good. Flavorful, a little bit of spice but definitely not spicy and a decent portion size. Lunch prices are reasonable in my opinion for what you are getting. I plan on returning for dinner sometime as well.

Its mediocre at best. The calamari was chewy, the mussels were bland, and the chicken masalas chicken was clearly thawed multiple times and tasted old. I would not recommend this place and not sure how it got its 3.9 stars...

Best pizza, tasty sangria and relaxed, friendly atmosphere! Was there with my husband, and we will come again with friends next time, as this is our newly discovered favorite place. Highly recommended!

I recently went to Baronessa and ordered the Vitello Alla Marsala and had the Tiramisu for dessert. Very good and great service. Definitely a nice place to visit if you havent already.

I go out of my way. I have eaten in Rome. The owner chef is incredible. Fancy eating without fancy high prices. Anyone saying anything negative doesnt know good food.
