Our last visit to this restaurant sealed the deal on terrible service. Although the sushi is pretty good, the staff and other entrees are not. After being seated and being pestered every 30 seconds if we were ready to order, I chose to order the steak and shrimp hibachi, medium well. We also ordered some sushi to go along. The sushi came out first with the standard soup and salad, that was all very good. Next came the entrees after about 20 min, mind you, there were only 3 other tables in there at the time. So when the entree came, what did I receive? The steak was medium rare and completely raw in spots. I waited and waited for our server, any server, to come by so i could say this. By the time anyone came, my family was done eating and they asked if I wanted it "reheated". I said no, Im not going to make my 2 yr old wait while you cook the same meat some more and then feel hurried to eat when theyre already done. So I simply asked it be taken off. She went over and what seemed like the entire wait staff looked at my ticket and the plate. 5 minutes later she comes over and said that they took off the steak and made it a shrimp hibachi since the steak was under. I then, irritated because i didnt eat anything except for the 3 pieces of shrimp, went to the counter and said I wasnt paying $9 for 3 pieces of shrimp. They all then convened again talking in japanese. She then said shed take another $2 off and just charge me for a vegetable hibachi....at this point I was livid. I didnt eat any of the vegetables or rice because I was waiting for my meal to get corrected, when that took too long and she finally took my plate to the back for the undercooked steak, they kept it and still decided to charge me even though I didnt get to eat it. I made this point and she kept stating there was nothing she could do. At least if you take my plate and then say youre going to charge me for something, let me eat it or take what you are charging me for to go. But no, they felt it fair to take my uneaten food, after they messed up and then didnt check back after 10+ min, and still charged me for the untouched veggies and rice. Never have I ever in my years in the restaurant industry or as a patron experienced something like this. If you mess up someones meal and dont come check on them or make yourself available to be called upon for issues, then come when the rest of the party is finished eating, they shouldnt have to pay for a meal they barely touched and that wasnt right in the first place. I will never go back nor will I recommend it, with their barely understandable english and lack of courtesy...go back to your own country.

Let me begin by saying their sushi was to die for! My husband isnt a big sushi fan and he even loved it. They have the best clear soup Ive ever had (and trust me, I dont normally go gah gah over clear soup). I ordered a hibachi steak dinner. It was superb! The steak was cooked just the way I asked and melted in my mouth. Even the fried rice was amazing. But to top it all off, our waitress was the sweetest lady. We adored her. She was very knowledgeable on the menu items and checked on us frequently. I cant say enough.....we will be returning for sure (and planning several take out evenings as well). P.S. - In response to a previous review, there are NO rats in the ceiling window. I actually looked, too. What I think the reviewer was seeing, were peoples reflections as they walked by (LOL).

Many of my friends enjoy this location primarily for its sushi, but I much prefer their hibachi selections of chicken, steak, and shrimp. Service is always friendly, and my order is always ready on our before the time stated for take out. The only thing missing from this restaurant is that they do not perform live hibachi shows the way they do at their location in Boardman. But if you want to get the same good quality food with the typical ambiance of a Japanese restaurant, then this would be a definite addition to your list.

I ate at this restaurant last night, and this was not my first experience there. Every time has been pleasant, good service and excellent food. Last night after I finished my meal, I noticed there was a glass mural in the ceiling, that was lighted ( so you can see any shadows behind it). AND THERE WERE RATS RUNNING ACROSS IT. Not to mention the copious amount of fecieses across the entire mural. I have never been this disgusted in my entire life.

Probably some of the best sushi around, fast and delicious! Customer service is about as normal as an Asian restaurant gets, the atmosphere of the building is very bland but we are here for the food and not the architecture. Almost all sushi places cost about the same so price is nothing fancy, so moral of the story? You want good shushi? This is your place for the niles/warren area

Im a West Coast transplant and have been longing for food that is exactally what Id expect to find in San Fransisco or Seattle. Mizu is everything Id been looking for. Prepared by actual Japanese sushi chefs in the traditional way, from the cut of the sashimi to the texture of the rice, the food was fantastic. The wait staff and service was just as pleasant. Highly reccomended!

Best Japanese steakhouse in the area. Their sushi is the best Ive ever had and Ive gone to several places in both PA and FL. Their hibachi is also the best bar none. Their fried rice is so fresh tasting, I dont know what they fry it in but it always tastes like they just made it. Would recommend especially if you like fantastic sushi!

I eat here at least once a week. I bring my family and friends. I recommend it whenever I get the chance. Even my husband who "hates sushi" likes Mizus sushi. Great food, great prices, great service. If they put in a bar at the Niles location Id probably spend my entire paycheck there.

The fish is so fresh and the attention to detail is seen in every sushi roll! Great service and very friendly staff. If you love your Japanese cuisine with the classic hibachi style stir fry, 5 stars must be given. Even something simple like a vegetable rice stirfry taste amazing.

Food was great. Limiting lunch specials to exclude Sunday stinks and doesnt help when the waitress doesnt tell you other options. Lots of options on menu but confusing. Waitress was very impatient and never checked on us or refilled our drinks. Prices were ok.

Our office orders spicy Tuna from there often. Its the best sushi in the tri county area! Generous with the meat and so very fresh! The staff is wonderful and weve never had a bad experience there. So happy for them to expand into Boardman.

We always have an amazing experience here. The food is delicious, the staff are attentive, and the service is always quick. Plus, the prices for the quality are incredibly reasonable; its not very expensive at all, especially for sushi.

Great variety, great food, super quick time with our food and tasted wonderful. Not a big fan of sushi but had multiple things to sate me. Would definitely recommend to almost anyone and would definitely go back again.
