If youre tired of Chilis and/or Crapplebees, T.G.I.F. is along the same lines (huge menu, potent cocktails, Happy Hour specials, etc.). I know Fridays has been around a LONG time and their food is tasty. Prices are right in-line with the two previously mentioned options; its not "fine dining" but you have a lot of things to choose from, as well as ongoing specials/combos. The parking lot is kinda wonky, especially when Lake Cook Road is jammed. Turn into the Target parking lot to save some time -you can cross over into Fridays lot.

I took my family out for my daughters birthday dinner, service was good, but my steak was terrible, I wanted to order a Sirloin steak but they said they were out of them, so I order a Ribeye steak well done and it tasted like the bottom of my shoe, it was SO tuff to chew, I had the waiter take it back, then they gave me a medium rare steak which was nothing but fat. My bill came out to $115 then they took off $40 for my steaks. Friday has fell off, at least at this location in wheeling.

Over all, my partner and I usually have a good time here. Food is always good but service is undependable. We very have often either have no one greet us or if they do they are rude. We ordered the endless appetizers last night and our server seemed pretty frustrated about it. Every time he returned to the table he said " anything else?" Eager to hand us our check. Was really disappointed last night

I honestly dont understand why this only has three stars. The waiter was amazing. Burger was amazing. The vibe of the restraunt was great and calm, with the normal clink of glass drinks. The waiter Chase was awesome and energetic. This restraunt will do great

Has become a bit more chaotic recently. For some reason it is now very popular with screaming kids, families, and post church meeting groups. Service slips sometimes, but only when busy. Food is still quite good. You can Reserve now on Open Table.

TGIF is always dependable. Their food is decent and the menu has plenty of variety. The service has always been good too. I like their rewards program where you get dining points for every purchase.

The food was OK, but we waited for 20 minutes before a waiter showed up. Supposedly there was a mixup and he wasnt told it was his table to take care of. He was really nice and apologetic though.
