Note, this review is based on how this location is run, not El Pollo Loco as a brand or the food (both of which I enjoy). Ive been a here a few times and this location and have noticed that this location is generally understaffed. It usually isnt too much of a problem as the crew keeps on top of things, but today they just couldnt handle a larger than normal crowd (and were not talking being crowded, just a larger crowd than normal.) There was only 1 person working the counter and taking out the food. They couldnt keep up with the line and the food was piling up. She had to keep running off to drop off food to tables. Took about 10 minutes to order and we were the second in line. Once we ordered, we discovered that the salsa bar was out of cups and the salsa was low. Took about 10 minutes to get food, pretty quick for us, but could tell that others had been waiting much longer. They didnt bring the food out, had to go to the counter to get it. No one was at the counter handing out the food, had to grab ours and then flag someone down for utensils. Got back to the table and discovered there were no napkins (used to have them at the table). Had to return to the counter as all the napkin dispensers around the restaurant were empty. Had to flag someone down again for napkins. Food was good, really no complains there. Used the restroom on the way out and there were no paper towels. Decided to have a little chat with the manager. Discovered she was the one running around at the counter taking orders and delivering food. I mentioned that things were hectic today and she said they were understaffed, always understaffed. I asked who handles the staffing and she said it was the general managers job. I told her to let me know that they were hurting today. She told me that she lets him know, constantly, as it is an ongoing problem. She also said that hed rather keep the staff lean instead to keep costs down. My jaw must have hit the table at that point, but the manager just shrugged. So Ive expressed my displeasure with their 1-877 number. They seemed surprised at what I had to say (same as what is here) and will be talking with the GM and Owner of that particular location. I will not be returning to this location, but others instead. Like I said, I like El Pollo as a Restaurant, just not how this location is run. Side note: The parking at this location sucks. Only about 8 spaces directly out front and 2 are handicapped. You have to cross a busy entrance into the shopping center for additional parking.

This place is disgusting. Maybe not El Pollo Loco as a whole, but this location. I was served by an Hispanic lady who spoke no English, had a red smock on that was COVERED in black grease where she had been wiping her hands. I got food poisoning from something there also. I complained to 1 800 number and they sent me a free meal. Great, just what I wanted! NEVER AGAIN!

Good chicken, the Avocado dressing is so good on the salad. I only get dark meat and black beans with salad so cant tell you about the other sides. Flan is great for fast food flan. Never eaten inside. Sign is not on always so I forget its open sometimes!

Unlimited Serrano peppers! The guacamole salsa is terrific! The pico de guyo is fresh. And the chicken is phenomenal!!!! Just get here before 9pm because they put the salsa and chile bar away well before closing at 10:pm

Food was well flavored, but by the time it was served, it was warm at best. Service was friendly but really really slow. My brother finished his salad before I got my burrito. He does not eat that fast.

Poor quality food. Order the same thing everytime and they always burn something or its cold. They always forget extra sauce that I paid for. Been to many other locations and never had this problem.

I got a gift card to eat at a place I never thought about coming to. This is next to a taco bell, but why eat that fast food when you can eat this stuff. (I gave a 5 for fast food rating)

Food great tried the new chicken bacon cheddar cheese quesadilla. Table dirty again but left it clean for the next person after we sit down someone did come out and cleaned tables.

Food is really good and cheap. The staff was decent but left a lot of tables dirty and I had to wind up wiping my own table down when the place only had about 5 customers.
