Clean store, open layout, but occasionally confusing organization. Employees sometimes block aisles with carts while stocking and dont pay attention to customers needing to get by. Havent seen much hustle from them to get out of the way of the customer. Cant blame the store for this, but the customer base is often rude and selfish, cutting in front of you, crowding in aisles, taking up the entire pathway or blocking freezers with their carts while they carry on conversations.again, not the stores fault but it can make for a frustrating shopping experience, especially if youre in a hurry. Self scan machines are very slow, the software engineer needs to overhaul the system and speed things up. It takes several seconds before you can scan your next item, and severely slows things down which is very frustrating when the store is busy. Forget trying to shop for groceries during holidays. I would advise the store manager to designate a certain number of lanes for groceries only, so people who arent doing last minute Christmas shopping dont have to wait 10, 20 minutes in line just to get supplies for dinner.

I LOVE Meijer stores. Let me say that first. Their prices are decent, mperks are pretty good, the quality on most items is great (except for meat, never buy that here because it goes bad before its use by date), and the staff at the majority of stores is very friendly and helpful. That goes for this store, EXCEPT its laid out very, very, very poorly. It took me 3 times of going into the store, into the side marked "FRESH" (as in groceries vs. HOME for everything else) to find eggs, milk, and butter! Those are in front of the "Home" section, so for new visitors to the store, your "fresh" staples are near the "home" entrance. The selection in this store also seems quite a bit slimmer compared to other stores, but their produce section (fruits/veggies) has a wide variety of all kinds of things and is just huge. Overall, Id recommend friends to go there because Meijer stores are just great, but I would warn them (as I was warned) that the layout is extremely screwy so its hard to find things (even basic staples!).

Do the employees get trained on how to bag groceries? If they dont, they should; if they do, they need updated training. The past few times, at least, I wonder where their heads are!! There is 1 cashier who is just horrendous when it comes to bagging & today, I dont know what her title is, but someone was at the checkout bagging for the cashier. So first of all the bag tore & my merchandise fell in the cart & on the floor....come to find out, after I got home, I was missing one of the items! Anyway, I put my groceries on the conveyor belt the way I want them bagged. All the refrigerated together, all frozen together, breads/chips together, etc. I am going to put my groceries in my trunk & find my LARGE flavored liquid coffee creamer in a bag with my loaf of bread & blueberries. WHO would do that??!!!!!!! 1 of the 2 meats I had bought was in with my box of cereal, the other meat was in another bag. I guess Ill either quit shopping there or start going through the self-checkout so I can bag it right

I have never complained about a public place on google, ever. But I cannot stand this Meijer. Ive never even had to go to customer service in a grocery store. But the past 3 times Ive gone to meijer I have had issues. 1st my credit card was charged 3 times and I had to actually fight to get my money back, 2nd the "computer" overcharged my card..and today I bought a product and went home to use it and THE BOX WAS EMPTY except for the instructions..which no thats not their fault because someone stole it...but the receipt kept coming up saying I didnt buy this product when it was the only thing I bought...so they had to give me in store credit...which was okay because I just wanted to go buy another one anyway...but just one more 20 minute wait in the customer service line! And Im not even going to get started on how rude the cashiers are. So I probably will not be going back to meijer ever.

This is not a review for the entire store but specifically the BAKERY. I had one of the worst experience with them yesterday and today. I wanted one of giant cookies wrote on, I was told yes they do it on the spot but the lady working said she was horrible at writing on cakes and couldnt guarantee the quality but that someone would be on later at night and could do it. I said no problem Ill pick it up at 715am tomorrow. It also took me a couple minutes to explain the difference between "your" and "youre". Left a slip that explained what I wanted on it and the cookie and returned the next day and oops they forgot to write on it. Im a little confused on how you forget to do a major part of your job. I did not have time for them to get the frosting and write on it then which is why I ordered it. NEVER using their bakery again.

I only visit this store in the early morning. The quality of service is abysmal on 2nd and 3rd shifts. The stockers seem to not have any supervision at all. They stand around talking to friends who are visiting and playing with their cellphones. There is usually only 1 cashier open at that time. You are expected to check yourself out. There are scores of teenagers trying to use their 5 finger discount and no one around to stop them. I think this store should have been built closer to town. The perfect spot would have been where the VFW is. As it is, its too close to Flint and the overflow of degenerate scum have invaded Davison.

Majority of the cashiers are very rude. Im a frequent shopper out of convenience, but really wish there was another store closer. Lines are always extremely long. Staff in customer service has always been rude to me, most of the time will refuse to so returns. Bathrooms usually smell terrible and out of TP. Half the time the drive to Walmart on belay rd is well worth it, saves a lot more money than shopping right across the street from my house. Definitely prefer meijer in lapeer or Oxford over Davison.

During most of the day, this is a pretty nice place to shop. The service is fine, theres a lot of variety, and the store is always clean. If you need to do your shopping at night, good luck having an effective trip. Nearly all the aisles are taken up by workers. This doesnt happen at most locations and I have no clue why they dont stagger it through the day. I wonder why they bother being open at these hours if nobody can get down half the aisles during the night shifts.

Always a clean store with friendly employees eager to help you. They have the best produce among the local grocery stores. Lots of variety. Their bakery is full of tempting goods, and if you need a birthday cake be sure to try one with the whipped frosting. They also seem to have more open lanes with cashiers ready to complete your transaction. Other stores in the area should follow suit; it makes a difference in my decision of where to shop.

My favorite thing about going to this Meijer is the positive and welcoming feeling I get from one of the older male greeters. He always has a smile on his face and seems genuinely sincere about making me feel welcome and actually wanting me to have a good day. Ive never experienced this before. I now understand the point of a greeter. However, the layout of this particular Meijer is ridiculously unnecessary and seems intentionally confusing.
