(Contrary to what several reviews say, they DO accept credit cards, but only if you sit down in the restaurant or bar section and get served. ) Sure there might be an off night where the service isnt that great. I had a waitress spill my drink on my once. But ive been a customer of Roma since 2001 and theyve only stayed consistently very good overall. A nice selection of food, a nice sports bar upstairs, nice atmosphere, generally good service by people whove worked there for a good while and I know for a fact many of whom eat the stuff themselves. I am not sure why anybody would say their food is horrible and I have to seriously wonder if some reviews are from a owner of one of the many failed restaurants that tried starting across the street from Roma because Roma is the only business in Pottsville who seems to be succeeding by any measure.

Would NEVER eat there again... Ordered a tray of baked ziti I got there early to pick it up cook was still making it he has long hair that was not pulled back I seen him put his fingers into my food to try it I almost died, when I told the guys behind the counter what he had done all they said was would you like another one. WHAT ARE YOU KIDDING ME !!! I was told that the same long haired guy still works there. I would Never eat there again. Needless to say the HEALTH BOARD was called in.

Yeah its okay.Had a steak sandwich here,Aweful.who puts a cheesesteak in a Ciabatta bun,didnt know if I should throw up or laugh.and even after remolding they still dont accept credit cards,at least break down and have a minimum of 10.00 that way someone spends 10 and stays. And doesnt walk out the door,thats a business tip for you and now that the bar is remolded and bigger there is no parking outside for the downstairs eating area,the owner doesnt think things through first

This is a highlight in Pottsville! The food is reasonably priced with ample portions. There were parking spaces along Market Street (50 cents/hour). The downstairs dining room is easy for people with mobility challenges. The upstairs dining room is a lot nicer, with views down to the street and, through the north windows, to the Schuylkill County Courthouse. Consider this place as a good place to eat before or after a tour of the Yuengling Brewery.

Best pizza and subs in Pottsville. Whether youre craving a simple cheese pizza or something with all the toppings, this place has you covered. Ordering in is easy, and orders are never wrong. Picking up sometimes takes a while, depending on busyness, but the wait staff is always cheery. Its also great for parties, theres a separate upstairs location just for groups, with the same great food served downstairs.

Im glad I dont live in Pottsville because if I did, I would be so fat from eating at this place all of the time. We went here after Elaine at the Yuengling factory tour recommended it to us. The food was phenomenal. The pizza is amazing and so was the sub and wings we got. The prices arent bad either. Definitely going here again when in the Pottsville area.

Great atmosphere, smells amazing inside with all the food being made. Counter staff was funny, cracked a few jokes while I waited for food. Amazing selection of menu items and beers. The food itself is honestly the best pizza/italian I have had since I moved to PA over a decade ago. Will make this my #1 lunch or dinner destination whenever Im in Pottsville.

Italian Food is great..cheesesteak bland...BUT...the noise is unbelievable.. Screaming kids ruin it all..the acoustics should be addressed...thought wed try to go upstairs to get away from noise..got half way up the stairs and the cacophony almost knocked us back...Id have dinner in a closet IF we could get away from the pandemonium

Roma Pizza is a good place for salads, subs, pasta, and pizza. There is seating upstairs and down. The atmosphere is modern and casual. They have a room you can rent for small gatherings. Food selection is varied and consistently good quality. Not many steak selection and they only have specials on Fridays and weekends.

I live in California, but every time I am in town, I have to go to Roma Pizza in Pottsville. Nothing even comes close to it back in California. The crust is perfect every time, with a crispy bottom and they load up on the mushrooms and cheese. Love it, please never change.

Very comfortable atmosphere, lots of seating options. Bar upstairs, with dining areas up and down. Friendly staff, and pretty good food. Theres a lot of options to choose from pizza wise, and the dessert options are great!!! I always enjoy time here!

I LOVE this place! The remodeling they did a year ago was such a huge improvement, but before then it was still an awesome place to go to. The stromboli is huge and not that expensive, the pizza always comes out absolutely perfect. Amazing job.

My husband and I go there at least once a week! If you are looking for something small for lunch the Italian Salad is excellent and a steal at $3.50. The baked ziti dinner is great too! Dont forget to try the chocolate martinis at the bar!

Walk in, head to the upstairs bar, and order anything you want and I assure you it will be tasty. We often head here after working all day in the office to order their whole appetizer menu and share a drink. Excellent staff too.

Being out of towners, we lucked out and found this spot. Excellent pizza. Had their special and it was plenty for 2 people. Nice bar too and really great setting. Beer and pizza for lunch for under $20, perfect.

Great place in downtown! The staff is super friendly and the food is fantastic and reasonably priced. Parking can be a bit tough, but it is absolutely worth it. Make sure to check out the second floor!

Amazing pizza. By far one of the best pizza places around. Only downfall is that if you are only stopping in for a quick bite then you need cash. If you choose to dine in then you can use your card.
