I would not recommend this restaurant for any dinner parties or for dinner at all. I had a dinner party for 25 people. I pre-ordered what I wanted and the order was totally messed up. We did not get the dinners we ordered. We did not get the dessert we ordered. The owners did nothing at all to try to correct it or to try to satisfy a good regular customer. They do not care about their customers at all. Needless to say we will never go back there again. They have lost regular customers because they do nothing to correct their mistakes. Our dinner party was ruined and can never be done over. Their breakfasts are OK but I would not recommend their dinners.

I would highly recommend this Restaurant! In my opinion, this is the BEST, Family Style, Restaurant, in this area! The food is excellent! Tastes like home made! The Chefs, really know what theyre doing! The Owners, are wonderful people! Very nice, & friendly! Just a joy to be around! Its very clean, & comfortable! The prices are VERY REASONABLE! And, you can always, get what you want, to eat! No haggling, over a piece of fruit, or healthy food, like most restaurants! Good people, & good food! As long as these owners stay, I will always go back, no doubt about it! *****

One of the worst restaurants I have ever eaten at. Cream of chicken tasted citrusy. I ordered the Veal Parmesan and it literally tasted like food you buy frozen at the supermarket. The pasta had nothing good to it, it wasnt seasoned correctly. I had a flan for dessert and couldnt finish it because there was a piece of plastic seal from milk gallon. Definitely never going back and never referring anyone to tht place. Service was the only good experience i took from that place, but good service does not fill you up. Too bad 1 one start is the lowest I can give them.

Great food. The photo thy hve posted is the back of the restaurant. Lots of food for a fair price dinners include dessert which they have awesome cakes to pick from. Server was great she made sure our visit was good so we would return. I will be sure to go back..thank you sumnist for great service. My server Tomisue was great. She was on top of it, refills fast service and very nice &funny. We will be back to see her & for the great food. Big portions great pricing

It probably was the worst breakfast Ive ever ate since Ive been down to Illinois and Ive been here two years in Bensenville the only thing good on my breakfast was the iced tea and the eggs the toast was burnt and Soggy the sausage was burnt and had a bad taste to it and hash browns were overcooked and they just dumped onions on top wasnt what I ordered probably wont go back

Sunmist is a Greek owned family restaurant with good food at reasonable prices. Its the kind of restaurant if you leave hungry its your own fault. They have daily specials and at least two different soups every day. A complimentary dessert is included with a dinner entree and their rice pudding is one of the best in the suburbs.

I love this place. I used to go there as a young adult with my Mom. It was great to be there again. My breakfast was hot and delicious. The waitress was a Chicago classic! Very attentive and kind to me ... a little sassy with the regulars. I plan to go there again next time Im in town!

The bread was stale ,the salad had brown spots, the lasagna was gross with canned sauce to top it off.I dont know how they did it but the broccoli and carrots tasted like warm water. For dessert crusty rice pudding. Horrible dinner for sure.

Good food, good prices, good service (Tina is great!!) Chicken noodle soup is really good...different than normal chicken noodle soup (small shells in delicious broth). Food is always good no matter what time you go. Great family place

A phenomenal restaurant!!! Great food ranging from pancakes and hash browns to the delicious gyros platter. The prices are extremely reasonable! Great prices for great food! Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Excellent example of a real Greek run and owned family restaurant. Just as suitable for dinner as it is for bacon and eggs. Large dining room can accommodate the largest parties. Defiantly one of my go-tos.

Ordered the steak and eggs breakfast. The steak was horrible reminded me of a Salisbury steak was expecting a skirt steak as other breakfast spots thats normally the steak you receive.

It used to be better. Seems like a lack of quality standards in the kitchen. Fruit cut too close to the rind (inedible), hash browns where black (burned) over 20%.
