The cream of chicken soup was great and the burger was good but thats where the positives end. The fries were undercooked. The skirt steak was watery and had a tiny hint of flavor which only served to remind me of how much better it can be else where. Hash Browns had an unusual taste that I couldnt quite put my finger on but I believe it possibly came from being cooked on an unclean cooking surface and the other lingering flavors cooked in to the hash Browns, sometimes a good thing but not this time. The pancakes had an off texture and flavor but overall decent once plenty of butter and syrup were added. The service was subpar, the waitress didnt refill our water once and was in such a hurry I didnt get the chance to order a soup, luckily I tried my wifes. I like to give restaurants a 2nd chance but it will be very difficult to justify it. Overall, very disappointing and not recommended.

While the food here tends to be good (if not always 100% consistent) I have to mark the place down on service. I tend to get pretty slow refills on coffee and it tends to take a bit for a waitress to come around. I used to come here a lot and it suffered from this problem, made a recent trip here for breakfast and it seems that things have not improved. If you arent in a hurry or dont drink a lot of coffee, the food is good, just nothing that really stands out as a must get.

A hands-down hit on the breakfast (and lunch, etc.) scene of this fine city. Through the years Ive tried pretty much anything theyve got on offer and most of it is delicious. The food, especially the breakfast food, is wonderful. Its an inexpensive yet delightful place to visit; I bet that anyone in your party would find something they like!

The food and service are always good at Downers Delight. One of the best meat lovers skillet dishes, most everything is good. Breakfast, lunch, dinner or an in between brunch never disappointing. Saturday soup of Cream of tortellini is divine. Cream of chicken rice is the Sunday staple. Always fresh bread. Thats why we keep coming back.

Dont come at night. All you get is dirty looks from staff. However the food tastes good. But overall a disgusting embarrassing mess and absolutely rancid. I cant believe that you get such a nasty look for walking into a restaurant. Not sure if its the manager but he looks like mr miagi from karate kid. Do not recommend. Sad...

I love this place (as i write this sitting in the back booth)! I have been coming here for almost 10 years.....They also have a full bar if you want a drink with dinner, or breakfast, I dont judge. Food tastes good, serving are enormous. The only downside is that the selection is so big that I can never decide what to get!!!!

Great food, friendly servers and owners. Prices are on par with other restaurants in the area and can get breakfast any time of day. Good sized portions wether dining in or ordering pick up. Few times I have been there and asked for some baklava to go the owner didnt bother charging me, dont see that often these days.

The food is great and usually comes out very quickly. Sometimes I stop in on my way to work, knowing they will have my order in and on the table in the time it takes me to check my bank account balances on my phone. Although they are fast, the servers remain friendly and attentive to your needs.

The restaurant is good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Portions are generous and food quality is above average, prices are a little high. Service is hit or miss lately. You constantly have to ask for water or coffee. It never used to be like that, they used to be on top of everything.

The sea bass is to die for. A great place for a quick snack or delicious dinner. The outdoor patio makes you feel like you are on vacation in Hawaii. Very family friendly -great for large parties too. The soups are a meal in themselves. Great carryout so always freshly made.

This is one of best places around. Great sandwiches, salads, and soups. The Greek meals are incredible. I highly recommend the Greek skirt steak and Greek skirt steak sandwich. The staff is very friendly and Jimmy the owner and Gus are awesome. What a delight!

I havent had anything outstanding here. The service is only fair. But its not terrible food better breakfast place then dinner. The entrees say they come with dessert on the menu but its never offered by the servers after the meal.

Not the greatest experience when we went to eat at Downers Delight. Our order took almost an hour to arrive. The staff seemed un-organized and managment acted like they didnt care. What a disappointment.
