Weld797 would know what a nut-job is since he or she possibly escaped from the Planter-Peanut Factory, and it usually takes one to know one or at least "ACT" as if he or she can identify someone correctly, when your comprehension and composition is obviously lacking in skill, in truth, and actuality. The real question is, "Read much?", because you obviously can hardly read the incomprehensible, scrambled and complicated menu. The menu shouldnt be as complicated as an Atlas map (like the Greek myth), the patrons are not looking for directions unless you are pointing them toward the door, so they can escape. It is an old crowd of mostly retired and elderly groups hinting of a nursing home scent. The staff appear for the most part disengaged, bored, and could not be any less enthusiastic to discuss the small talk subjects about the weather and the unfortunate happenings within the local and global news. Furthermore, BILL; the owner, not the fee for the less than appetizing food-fare, comes across and appears to be the epitome of why the Nation-State of Greece was KICKED-OUT of the European Union and forced to resort back to their vampire money, the old stand by DRACHMA. Although I cannot tell you how much the drachma currency is fetching for on the U.S. / Euro Currency Exchange Market, I can tell you that in my humble opinion, the Dunton House Restaurant is not fetching much business with its dead, flat-lined approach to the younger consumers. One should know there is a problem when the waitress staff are referring the young patrons to the local corporate-run restaurants and cafes. I need not say any more.

Your insignificant comments on the type of patrons who happened to be there when you were are dim-witted and completely irrelevant. The food and service here are great and the prices are fair. Update May 2016: Hey Vendetta, so sorry you find basic restaurant menus confusing and difficult to read; perhaps you should stick with reading material better suited for your education and comprehension levels - Dr. Seusss Green Eggs and Ham would be a good choice. Remember to sound out the big words.

The longest tenure of any Arlington restaurant and there are reasons. Weve had five generations call it our favorite. Service is always most accommodating land the food can be counted on. NO French Dip in the world can compare. Always nice flowers and always clean. Feels like home.
