Food was good but the service was horrible If youre not Mexican they treat you poorly. My husband and I were excited to try this restaurant. We see it crowded most of the time. We decided to go there for lunch today and was treated with disrespect and disregard. We enjoy spending a pretty penny to go out and have a nice experience but we will not be spending our pennies here ever again. We sat & observed how the Latinos were treated and greeted with a smile vs any other ethnicity. They looked at us like why are you here. No smile, no warmth, nothing! Youre not in Mexico people we are in America where many different culture and ethnicities reside . Get used to others coming to your restaurant and treat them with the respect that any customer Mexican, Asian, black or white deserves.

Not Legit. This place is not worthy of the company it keeps in this article. Just because they discount their tacos on Tuesday, does not make them good. I live in Long Beach and am vexed at how this place gets the play it does. It holds almost 5 stars on Yelp. Thats got to be a case of rigging. Whatever. Its just not that good. The fact that its even in the same article as Momo, Mariscos Jalisco, Guisados, Guerilla, etc..no effen way. Calls into question how legit is the journalism from Thrillist. Looks like someone copied and pasted StreetgourmetLA Bill Esparzas list and tossed in Torazo to throw the LBC a bone. No Bueno.

Nice cozy little mexican restaurant with alot of potential to have you coming back once or twice a week for "Taco Tuesday&friday". Although i havent really ventured to far into their menu besides a Wet burrito and of course there tacos, you can also enjoy a beer or two or pitcher during those speacial days to wash down those delicious tacos. Staff is pretty friendly as well and they keep the place pretty well maintained. Seating does get rough when its crowded but that can happen anywhere when the food is good. Parking is about the same but hey thats the city life for ya.

Amazing taco shoppe, appears recently remodeled and the staff is very friendly. We showed up for Fridays dollar taco special which they create with the same quality as their usual tacos. The meat is flavorful and seasoned with a straight forward recipe. Reviewing the rest of the recipe showed their ability to create typical and delicious food for their taco shoppe. My one star space for improvement is to request an option for the more adventurous person which could show some creativity for a nontraditional recipe.

Some of the best Mexican food around. Their asada tastes like they take their time preparing it. Meaning the asada is tender and very flavorful. Their shrimp cocktail, though expensive ($9), is the best in Long Beach by far. Would definitely recommend this place.

Delicious tacos, regularly quick service and beers! The decor inside gives this place character and an authentic atmosphere. I usually just pickup my orders, especially on taco Tuesdays, its a college madhouse!

The torta milanesa is so yummy, a true delight for my taste buds with its combination of textures and flavors. The michichelada was big and refreshing. This is a great low key spot.

Love this place! Come here to eat, you cant go wrong, eat the red salsa.....its the spicy one! They have 2 green salsas, the chunky one is really good too and has limon in it.
