Pros: The Kenosha IHOP is open 24 hours/day; overall, the food is consistently good; if there is a problem with your order they are pretty quick at fixing it, if possible; there is a casual, family atmosphere; you can get free pancakes if you complete the online survey shown on your receipt. Neutral: The prices may seem a bit high, but the larger portion sizes make up for this; there is a special "featured" menu that changes monthly. Cons: the interior could certainly use some repairs, updating, and general TLC (especially the torn upholstery); depending on when you go, the customers can be too loud and rowdy; during peak times, the wait time to get seated can be over an hour; there have been menu items that were altered but the menu had not been updated to show that anything had changed (such as the Crispy Chicken Salad that used to be one of my favorites, until the standard lettuce was replaced with some other kind of lettuce that had a very different texture and flavor which completely ruined the salad for me).

I was worried that my food would be undercooked because it came so quickly but it was a baseless concern as the food was as incredible as the service! Alexis was patient with me while I had a great deal of difficulty deciding what to order and she was friendly and fun during service. As I ate I watched her wait on the other tables in the section and she was great at tailoring her demeanor to what each table seemed to want...serious and strictly business when the table was just that way and fun when the customers were that way! Shes definitely a great asset to to the company and Im certainly very happy to have had the pleasure of her as my server! Clearly IHOP is doing a great job in the hiring process as everything from the first greeting to the servers to the food to the cleaning crew were doing an excellent job from what I saw!!!

As a breakfast restaurant there are other upscale options, but if you are looking for a 24 hour, clean, dependable place to get some waffles and eggs in the morning, or chicken and grits at 2 am, this is a good option. Sure, there are other places nicer, but there are some restaurant chains that are always dependable. This is one of them. 4/5 stars because this particular location could probably use some remodeling, but I recommend looking past the decor, and focus on how you are able to be served good food, by a good staff, late at night or early in the morning.

Kenosha, WI. Hwy 50 location. Exceeded all my expectations! Alexis took excellent care of all 16 of us at midnight Saturday night without a reservation! She set up tables, took our orders, brought our meals while still hot, and billed us as we requested. Just service with a smile and nicely manicured hands. The food was delicious. Alexis, great job! The midnight crowd is in good hands at IHOP! Corporate, promote this woman!

Worst service ever, we ended up walking out, waited 15 min and no one ever came to great us. When we arrived the manger was talking at the front to staff members and when we left she was still talking and joking around, waiter was drinking behind the counter as me and my family were starving and thirsty. I will never go back, this is sad ihop is a place that I enjoyed to go to. It gets 1 star only because I had to put something.

Had some strawberry French toast that was to die for! Our server "kierra" was beyond fabulous and sweet. Its friday so its a bit hectic but that is in direct contrast to the amazing service provided. Thank you for the delicious food and to "Ms.kierra", i hope you know your worth because I just met you and it was apparent within a few seconds of conversing.

Bad service! Went in and wanted my baby and I to be squished between other customers the other side of the restaurant was completely empty asked to be seated on the other side and was denied because it wasnt "open" yet until one side was full (it already was) manager came out and wasnt any help so I left wont be going back thats for sure

Worked here previously as a hostess. Underpaid, and not enough hours for the work they expected, not nearly enough training, which would explain the complaints about people not knowing what theyre doing. Everything was very jumbled and kind of "on a whim". Probably wont ever go here again, despite a few of the friendly co workers.

My son was excited to get pancakes, only to have his hopes for breakfast dashed when the waitress told us that the night shift cook had just left and no one was on the grill with no idea of when the next cook would be there. This is 7am, your breakfast rush, you serve primarily breakfast....

It was three oclock in the morning and we couldnt get service because the wait staff was out in the parking lot passing little cigarettes back and forth. On the good side the young man who took payment for the check was all giggles but then he had trouble calculating the check.

3 stars only because the food was good. Our Server kept getting lost we had to ask for her every time we needed something. They sat us next to a Window with no shade and the sun was burning us while we where trying to enjoy a hot cup of coffe . Not a pleasant experience

Pancakes, crepes, French toast, etc. Is good, anything else is bad. That being said, chain restaurants all have the same food so reviews should be based mostly on service and atmosphere. This place is pretty gross and have had multiple experiences with bad service.

It was the more disgusting place I ever eat. The ceiling tile have mold, bathroom dirty, dirty floor. Food was cold , you can hear the staff talking laugh. When they bring the food they forgot to give us the utensils. I will never go back to this restaurant.

Went in for a small breakfast and they wouldnt let me order off of the kids menu. Manager got involved and and said it would be a dollar upcharge. Whats it matter if its me or a kid! I know its only a dollar but what kind of customer service is that???

The staff was Extremely Loud! They were laughing and cackling about personal experiences throughout the entire time we were dining. We had to wait an excessive time to be seated, even though half of the restaurant was completely empty.

Dirty bathroom. Under cooked bacon. Nasty sausage. Didnt get napkins or silverwear till after we got food. Husband had to use my straw to stir coffee. We will not be back. It was gross, and waitresses didnt care to wait on us.
