I wish I could give zero or negative stars to this golden corral. We went here to eat on this day 9/11/2016 about an hour before closing. We werent expecting everything to be hot and fresh since it was closing soon but as soon as we walked in there we saw only maybe 10 people in the entire restaurant which shouldve told us something then. This was by far the worst dining experience ever. Everything was dried out from sitting for who knows how long and when something was replenished it looked old just reheated. We were coming from Milwaukee passing through and decided to give this one a try since wed been to the one in Gurnee which blows this one out of the water. The only thing that tasted ok was the dessert. This is the dirtiest restaurant ever. I expressed my disgust to the manager Jay and he could care less. His only concern along with all the workers was getting out at the exact closing time and even made an announcement on the loud Speaker that they were about to close. The Gurnee location serves hot food even past closing time and even encourages you to take your time if youre still eating after they close their doors. Please avoid this place at all costs unless you want to get sick. I wish I could protest so no one will eat here again smh.

This vote comes from a family of 5 and we gave this place a two star. Why? Will we did gave it a three star before we just went back recently. We went to Golden Corrals for my son birthday on July 22, 2014 and its not cheap. We were all disappointed when the buffet wasnt fill with fresh food or refill at all with food. Some of the station was not clean, the food that were serve hot when we got to our table it should of been either warm or somewhat hot, but instead it was cold. We tried their roast beef with vegetable and the potatoes were hard, not even cook. So we just had mash potato and gravy with steak. Now dessert area was a mess with that chocolate, caramel 3-tier fountain. The marshmallows were used and not likely to eaten by anyone. We were all disappointed by this place, and not going back anytime soon. The server was wonderful and nice, but the buffet area needs a lot of attention.

This place was a dump. There were dirty tables everywhere, silverware had run out, the food that was available was either sitting around until it was getting crusty, or was absent. I am very forgiving of restaurants and businesses because I know how hard it is to keep up, but this place was not even trying. The staff were standing around in groups, gossiping together, while the dining areas were an utter disgrace. My designated server started cleaning tables with a spray bottle, wafting cleaning solution over my meal. I could not be less happy with a dining experience.

Went there 2 weeks ago, No table to sit at, place was gross dirty. Did not want to wait in line of 20 people to get steak, so settled for ribs, which asked "chef" to cut different piece because that piece looked undercooked and slimy. he said "Why? I just cut that! I dont understand you people!" and gave me that piece. When I walked away I heard him telling another customer. "I know a place right down the road who will cook your food exactly how you want it". The bathrooms were disgusting!! I used to love this place, I will never ever go back!!!

Food is OK but also questionable. Food could be more warmer. Hate trying to find a table. Some people are obnoxiously rude there talking loud and come in dressed in tank tops and other dressware that will your eyes roll. No dress code there. Wear what you want. Heck ...come in your thong bathing suit. Management dont care. They just want your $$. Saw another fella dressed with his pants half way down. This IS NOT a place to enjoy a meal and relax at. Bring your earplugs if you dont want to listen to the table next to you.

The boiled shrimp was good, once the staff finally set it out 30 minutes after it was emptied. The steak was tough, but the ribeye was pretty good. The service was excellent! From the folks giving us our drinks and taking our money to the young man taking care of our table!! Even when folks let their kiddos run free, an announcement was made, in English and Spanish, pleasantly requesting parents keep them close.

Went there, sign said lunch was $7.99 till 4pm. Got up there to pay for them to tell us they decided to switch to dinner even though there sign said till 4pm and are meals would now be 13.99 each. They over price and unprofessional for not going by the times listed. Do not suggest going here. China buffet right down the street is better priced and huge selection and delicious food.

My family and I LOVE going to Golden Corral. Weve only been to the location in Kenosha on 75th Ave., however. The food is delicious and constantly being replenished. In my experience all employees were friendly, courteous and willing to make our dining experience a pleasureable one. For a family of 4, we get a large variety of food for an inexpensive price...gotta love it!

The food was there, and it looked like foods you know and trust, but the quality leaves something to be desired. Not a lot of joy involved as I crammed it in trying to get my moneys worth. I give it 2 stars, because it still is a buffet and not a 5-star restaurant. So in my opinion it delivers on quantity, just not so much in quality. Who knows, maybe it was a bad day?

The place was very dirty, children were running all over and nobody cared. The bathroom was disgusting. We had to fight for food everytime we went to get food it was gone. Not a good value, we went home disgusted and hungry. All there was to eat was salad, vegetables, and potatoes. The desert bar looked like they let three yr. old with no manners loose on it!

Steak was good everything else was okay this place is overrated completely....food on the floor.... kids running wild....womens bathroom was embarrassing....too packed on a Sunday but our waitress was nice came by picked up plates to make room great conversation kept refills flowing but the food wasnt hitting the spot sorry waste of a drive 3⛦ for steak

The steaks were cooked perfectly, the staff was friendly and eager to help, the facility was clean. Honestly one of the best food experiences Ive had here. I traveled from Illinois to this location due to word of mouth and I will make the drive again.

Today June 12, 2017 worst day to come here. Outside 92 degrees and inside golden corral at least 100 or more. Airconditioning is not working. Employees and guests sweating profusely. Should of stayed closed until it was fixed. Horrible!!!!

I have been to Golden Corral in Waukesha and it was great every time... In Kenosha on the other hand wasnt my best experience... Taco meat and cheese was dried out... The chicken was under cooked... It just ruined my appetite...
