Yes Im an employee here, but that has no effect on my review. I started working here because I enjoyed my experiences so much. They were a nice, friendly, attentive, and courteous staff. The drinks are what really make this place stand out. There are no better coffee, tea, espresso, or coffee cocktails anywhere else in town. Id even wager in a ten mile radius this is the best. Outside of my time in Italy, Ive not had a better espresso. The food is also quite good. There is a wide range of items to choose from. Whether you want breakfast (the Beverly which contains prosciutto, arugula, sliced tomato, oil and vinegar, and scallion cream cheese on a toasted everything bagel is a must try), lunch, or dinner it is covered. Daily specials as well. Because of everything I wrote, I sought out employment and I couldnt be happier

Ive been in here a handful of times. Reminds me a lot of of another cafe in Bayonne. Friendly staff, fresh food, and hip atmosphere. Ive ordered off of grub hub twice now and they got my order wrong each time... No biggie I can put my own mayo and mustard on. They also give you a huge portion of cold cut meat when you order a sandwich. Makes me wonder how they make money. Ill be back! Im new to grubbhub, and I think its going to be a deciding factor in where I choose to order from.

My boyfriend and I moved to Bayonne for a short period of time and were looking for a close breakfast/spot and came across PerkUp Cafe - we are so glad we did! Nice, cozy little place. The food is great, the coffee is perfect, and the service is wonderful. The people that work here are so nice and attentive. I wish the owners would open another shop at a few more locations in maybe Hoboken or Jersey City. Great place guys!

Used to eat here all the time, until my boyfriend went in one day and saw flies all over. Like not just a few, he described it as a swarm of flies...We never ate there again which is a shame because the food is delicious and the best in Bayonne for breakfast. (I miss it) Also annoying that they cannot put a tip on the card for the driver.

This is one of the only clean, classy places in Bayonne. I used to love grabbing a coffee and a sandwich here. Id set up my laptop on a table and get some work done in a very laid back atmosphere. Bayonne needs a lot more places like this. I should mention, the coffee is great. The sandwiches are great. The staff is very friendly.

The people are awesome. Really friendly and really accommodating. The food is good too. The coffee tastes delicious. The atmosphere is perfect for both sitting and doing work as well as relaxing with a friend. P.S. the hours on Google are wrong. They open at 6am.

These place has great food, though I usually only have breakfast here they do make amazing lunch food, they are always very innovative and everything looks delicious. I call in my order and its ready for pick up on my way to work. Great service also.
