Horrible horrible experience every time I have gone here. The last experience was by far the worst. When I arrived to pick up my take-out order, I saw that it was packaged and ready in the counter. No one was there to assist me upon arriving, so we flagged down the hostess who was completely clueless. She had told us that our order was already "checked-out" and that the food sitting on the counter wasnt ours; a waiter came to help in the midst and he also told us the order wasnt ours and that it would be right pit. TWENTY MINUTES pass, and I walk up to ask them where my order is, and they grab the same bag that was sitting there the entire time. I inform the young lady that this has been there the entire time, and she insists that it was fresh. Upon eating the food it was cold and disgusting! My parfait was hot for goodness sake!!! We called to complain being that our order was over $50, and no one EVER answered! Nor did they ever return our voicemail!!! The food wasnt that great either....I dont ever plan on going there again....another downside is that you cant order the sweet fries without the sugar on top.....I would them zero stars if I could. The customer service is dreadful, and the employ two dim witted hostesses who stand around and joke the entire time....

Went to the resturant twice, a week apart. The first time my family and i went to the resturant seemed very clean and inviting. When we received our drinks the cups and utensils were dirty. Didnt make a issue of it, asked to receive new ones. Everyones food came at different times and when i received my plate it was the incorrect meal. The manager accomodated us for the inconvenience and delay of having to make and bring out the correct dish. The second attempt was a deal breaker. Not only were utensils and cups were dirty again but the waitress was not attentive and also had to be constantly reminded of what was asked for. The gentleman that brought our plates was informed that we had dirty utensils and that one of the cups of water had what appeared to be old food floating inside. He said and did absolutely nothing, he walked away after placing the plates down. We had to ask another server for assistance. At this point our waitress did not return to our table until we were done eating and ready to pay the check. This will be the last experience at this resturant as it is uncomforting to have to constantly check if i have clean utensils and cups to use.

Today I had the short rib Benedict, the Mexican benedict, the grits, and veggie burger. As of service our waiter was amazing she did her job as of knowing the menu properly, and upselling signature dishes. As an American breakfast concept, the atmosphere and menu definitely played to the name. When doing breakfast not everything goes together, the short rib Benedict was under seasoned completely it had no favor nor did the potatoes, grits were filled with heavy cream and cheddar cheese, over cooked and was tasteless. The Mexican Benedict was just corn tortillas that were soaked with oil and the cheese quesadillas were soaking up all the oil from the chips. The veggie burger in the menu description stated a chipotle aoli, when upon eating it, there was literally a drop of aoli and the veggie burger was fried and soaked the bun. In all, the food was not enjoyable and the favor profiles need to be developed. They need to spent more time toning the favor of each dish and spent less time on making it look pretty. If the food doesnt taste good and look good then whats the point.

Where to start...was told by the hostess that there would be a 10-15 minute wait on a Sunday morning last week. There were 4 open tables outside and 4 open seats at the bar. I asked how long for those and she said just a few minutes. After waiting for 25 minutes, we finally were told we could sit at the bar. We sat there for 5 more minutes before anyone said anything to us. Finally, the waiter said he would be right with us, but didnt offer us water, just 2 menus. For 15 minutes he walked by us and said nothing. Finally, we simply got up and left. I will never go back. The hostess was rude and confused, the waiter behind the bar appeared as if he never worked in a restaurant before and the entire situation was just miserable. As we were waiting, the people seated at the bar to my right commented that it had been 35 minutes since they placed their order and their food still had not come. No thank you Green Eggs Cafe, with service like this, there simply are far too many options to ever come back.

Food was horrible and the service is the worst Ive ever experienced. Train your servers to not be nosey, and to approach a table after the food has been delivered to inquire if everything is good to go. Instead my server chose to gossip behind the counter about a personal action between myself and my family - THAT DID NOT CONCERN HER...... The old guy that calls himself a manager - word of advice - think twice next time you want to go hulk and attempt to attack someone. YOU ARE A LIABILITY. Im quite sure Stephen Slaugter will enjoy watching the video of you trying to fight a customer. Hopefully if the owners care the least bit about their company - theyll fire you as soon as possible. The BBB wasnt to fond of your actions either. Goto work at a biker bar, and try going hulk with the patrons there. Youll be swept away real quick. Thats probably where you deserve to be since you cant keep your composure under pressure. "Hombre de mente débil viejo"

Have been to this restaurant 4-5 times, and the food has been great each time. Unbelievable pancakes, french toast, superb kitchen sink (eggs and cheese above sausage, peppers, onion and topped with a large homemade biscuit and gravy - served piping hot in a skillet). Many, many other choices served in an original attractive manner and not very expensive. However, when they opened they were using experienced service staff from Pennsylvania who knew how to operate, and now they have local staff who hardly seem up to the job - including the manager who doesnt have a clue. Service lately is slow with many mistakes and the tendency to blame everything on the kitchen (which, frankly, seems quite inaccurate). The food is excellent, so I will continue to frequent Green Eggs Cafe. I fear, however, that poor staff performance will lose customers and threaten the restaurants longevity. Too bad!!!

Be very careful if you have a food restriction as the restaurant is not accomadating to people like us. The food looked great and tasted good, although the veggies were on the salty side. The nutella latte and rosemary home fries were the best part of my meal. The portion sizes seem big enough for two people to share. The atmosphere was nice and the waiter was kind. Our interaction with the hostess was the best part of our visit this morning. Besides the kitchens inability to modify dishes, we were not given cups of water (unlike every other restaurant in South Florida) and the utensils, mugs and table top condiments were dirty. Overall, this is a great restaurant if you have no food restrictions as the menu was on point and seemed better than basic cafes, and if you are indifferent towards cleanliness.
