So I must start by saying that Im a regular, whether I come here with family, friends or dine alone which is most of the time. I come often because its fairly close to home and the food is great. I should add that I dine out a lot and at many places that are high end, just to name a few, Zuma, Nobu, down to restaurants that you might go to just to grab a bite and sit at the bar like your locals that you find in every corner like Chilis or TGIF and one of my favorite, the family owned restaurants that bring unique family recipes to the plate and awakens your flavor pallets. The reason I visit this place for so often besides location is because, like many restaurants that I revisit is because of the way it makes me feel; with rating it from a scale the from the ambiance, energy, decor and the service of course. Im one to admit that if food is a 3 out 10 but service was impeccable most diners will probably consider overlooking the faults during their visit even when it came to the food and return again! As much as I visit First Watch it has a fee faults but a couple good pointers as well, let me name a few then Ill get into the ones that need improvement. The restaurant has what you would call great "vibes", its a very friendly and family oriented restaurant to visit, with someone always at the front to welcome you and seat you (I tend to always sit at the communal table though) to when the waiter approaches the table with a kind and somewhat of a unscripted greet. Theyre knowledgeable of the menu and answers questions unbothered. The food comes out at a timely manner even when busy and the server is tentative of whether your cup needs a refill of water or a fresh pour of hot coffee. The support staff is aware of the right time to clear a finished plate out of the way or when to wipe clean a dirty table for a swift turnover. Like any foodies that dine out a lot we look for more than just food; we seek out the minor details in things like décor, service and yeah, food and its presentation. **I must note, Im no blogger but for someone that eats at many different restaurants, across the globe and have worked in the hospitality and food and beverage industry I think I know a thing or two.** Now for the faults Ive observed, I get the whole feel of things when it comes to décor; with their concept of farm/barn yard but since placing a lot of wood into this concept it important to dust and wipe it down now and then. besides a little cleaning tip, service isnt always at the top of its game, the servers will now and then for get a few things like making sure to bringing a straw with a ordered beverage and when working in this industry its nice to have the habit of anticipating guests needs (its help tremendously) just for that smooth and effortless dining experience not only for the diner but for you as a server as well.Keep that in mind. Last but not least, the food! Although I have not ate a bad dish here yet, I must say one thing that I continuously encounter with ever visit and I cant seem to understand how they miss it every time, even that one time the manager ran food to me, is the dirty, smudged, food around the rim of the plate!!! Food being tasteful is important but for me, the presentation is so crucial; after all you do eat with your eyes before actually tasting the food. I believe that the chefs has to pay more attention to when placing the food on the plate, paying attention to small details like this is not only a job for the chefs but for the food runner as well. Small but powerful tip, before bringing the dish to the table, simply keep a damp cloth to clean up around the rim before presenting it to the table. All in all, I love this place...bringing farm fresh concept to the plate is a wonderful idea, the energy is great, and the service is good! To the new management, keep up the good work and note that theres always room for improvement.

Super malo servicio. Horrible Service

Well this is my second time in 3 days. The first time was 2 pm Thursday service was a little slow but food was amazing. This time is Saturday 11 am took 45 minutes and after I letterally buss my table dirty dishes and dirty cups, where hostess invited me to sit and insisted to order at the hostess station, cause they keep say "server will be.out there soon" and no one ever showed. Finally I got my food 1.25 hour later ice cold eggs Benedict and really good quinoa pancake. $30 to go home upset and hungry cause eggs were not edible. Manager came out a funny guy dirty of any kind of sauces who was whining sweat with bare hands from his face claiming that the server did not know I was sitting here. End of story.

Im very picky when it comes to my food. I much rather eat at home. I dont like to have bad experiences with my food. That being said, I went to First Watch in North Miami Beach Florida yesterday for the first time. Everything about this place is 100%. The place was super clean and it smells super clean. The staff is super friendly. The food super delicious and affordable. And one of the most important things in any restaurant, the bathroom was also super clean. The menu is very original. Its not the same old boring menu you find at most restaurants. They have many original, unique and healthy types of food. Very well done

Absolutely horrible!!! Took an hour to get food and it wasnt busy . Simple order eggs with cheese, bacon with toast and chocolate chip pancake . Eggs was tasteless and cold they brought the toast 15 min after I got my food the bacon literally crumbled in my hand when I asked specifically that I like my bacon cooked less than medium . Pancake was ok but also cold !!! Worst $26.00 plus tip I ever spent !!!! I will never ever eat there again I basically I paid $26.00 plus tip to eat toast and water . I got a Better meal the one night I spent in jail !!!!!

DO NOT go on a Sunday. I came by myself to give the place a try before inviting people and it took over 30 minutes to bring out my order of JUST eggs and potatoes. I am sorry but that is just so simple a order not to bring out quicker. I am just one person. I sat at the community table and I just feel like not enough consideration is given to it. I am here to potentially bring you new customers. Aside from that GO ANY OTHER DAY! The food was undeniably amazing. GO go go! Run there for wholesome good food. I will return just never on a Sunday!
