Koko serves mainly Korean food with a smattering of Chinese and Japanese. Your entree usually comes with kimchee, small tapas like items to snack on. The food is decent, good enough for collegetown restaurant. But I dont come here for the food. The service at Koko is immaculate. During the winter, as soon you sit down, they bring up a cup of hot tea. They have asked me whether the music is too loud. You never wait for water, your next course or your bill. Its like the staff is constantly anticipating youre needs. They are professional, quiet, reserve and extremely efficient. I eat at Koko for a nice steaming plate of Jap Chae, but to support the wonderful staff as well.

I used to order their sundubu for lunch to go because it was awesome and filling. Ive noticed in the last year that theyve been downsizing, but keeping the prices the same. The sundubu was literally barely half-filling the container today, and when I brought it to the servers attention, she just denied it and said that its full, even though we were both looking at it. Either we were looking at different containers, or she was delusional. This goes for their panchans (side dishes) as well. This is too bad, because the actual flavor of the sundubu is great, its just not worth the money anymore.

Probably the best Korean food in Collegetown. Service is pretty quick and the servers/owner are very friendly. The food is very affordable (especially if youre used to prices elsewhere like NYCs ktown) and pretty tasty. I cant find daeji bulgogi the way this place makes it anywhere else. The only downside is the portions are a little bit on the small side and the meat Ive had here tasted a little overcooked. But when you consider the lack of decent food in Ithaca, this place is definitely a winner.

Although most of the food Ive tried there is good, I feel it is overpriced. The people working there are very kind (even to non-Koreans).
