only went to this one because the one across the bridge from Homestead was closed for some odd reason (its advertised as 24/7). me and my boyfriend arrived and waited atleast 5 minutes to be seated despite the fact that there was no line, there just werent any servers. we were seated right next to a group of obnoxiously loud people. we ordered right when we sat down, i got a you pick two combo including soup and a sandwich, my boyfriend ordered a pancake combo. after ordering i realized that we didnt even get utensils and had to take them off a different table. also, our table didnt even have old fashioned syrup, and had to find that also on a different table. i received JUST my soup after 10 minutes. after another 30 minutes my boyfriend received JUST his pancakes and i then received my sandwich. and finally, another 15 minutes to get his hash browns bacon and eggs. during all of the deliveries the waitress kept saying how sorry she was about how long it was taking (apparently it was because the cooks were goofing off, as the waitress said it), and it wasnt a very professional way of apologizing because she kept touching her face as she said it. this threw me off because i know that when you work in food you should NOT touch your face or hair. we got our check, and despite all of the terrible service i felt bad for the waitress because i doubt any of the time we waited was her fault and we tipped her the standard 20%. we went to check out at the register and the "manager" looked strung out, but i guess that could be open to interpretation. all in all AMAZING food.. but TERRRRRRRRRRRIBLE service!

Dude their food was not as lit as usual and ponytail waiter took forever and a day to do anything. Got our food way after peeps who arrived after us and let me tell you it was not ok. My tummy was a rumblin while I saw everyones food carried right past us... sadness. I love pancakes and all their glory but IHOP let me down this time. Bro unless you got a solid 3 hours to sit down and wait for some hot(ish) cakes off the griddle dont even bother. WARNING: DO NOT GET THE HASHBROWNS!!!(they taste like cabbage) When we finally got our food I was like "um ok??????" when I saw my pile of what looked like grey poop discs(actually the double chocolate chip pancakes) I ate em anyway bc I was starving after my decade of waiting (flavor wasnt bad just appearance was not doin it for me). Good luck if you go here hopefully its on a good night when no one else in the area wants pancakes so you are the only order and can get your food before the sun comes up the next day

Weird service issues on last few visits. We went with friends on a not too busy afternoon and waited 30 minutes to get silverware. Wed ordered in the meantime, so 2 of us were sitting there with beverages and part of our order with no utensils to eat with. On our most recent visit we were waiting and waiting for a simple order of pancakes and bacon for each of us and finally were able to ask our waitress after 45 minutes where our food was. She said the kitchen had "lost our (order) ticket" and the food was on the way. We got free dessert, but issues like this make us reluctant to return without lots of spare time or a great offer. Servers and food pretty good for a chain restaurant, but I cant give this location 5 stars due to the above.

Im really not one to complain about poor service, however my experience here was absolutely terrible! We were seated quick, however sat there for about 10 minutes before the waitress even got to the table to ask about drinks. It then took forever to get our drinks. After finally getting our drinks we waited about another 10 minutes or so for food( which was fine ). When finished it took the waitress forever to bring the check. Decided to pay on our way out, and the staff couldnt figure out how to ring us out. Seriously!!!!! Some of this may be acceptable if they were busy, but at 830 am there was hardly anyone there. Food was delicious, service was horrendous, would not suggest this one.

I love Ihop. Sadly this location is worst i been too. Every time i have gone here there has been a problem. The waitress havent been a problem any time we have gone. Its either all the tables are dirty and we have had to wait 20 min for someone to clean one. Or last few times everything i tried order they were outta of. Few time my order was just burnt or wrong. Waitresses have always done their best to fix it and apologize. And every time the excuse has been same, we are shorthanded, have heard that excuse about 20 times. Other locations i have been to food has been great, not this location.

My boyfriend and I went to this location, and we were seated and ordered a drink. The menu my boyfriend was given was saturated in coffee or some other liquid, and when he asked for a different menu the server did not seem to care, and almost acted like getting another menu was a chore or something. His spoon was also caked in old food, and it took over ten minutes to find a new one (he had to take it off another table), and when our server finally came back we just left. It says something when a restaurant somewhere as busy as Robinson is nearly deserted on a Saturday evening.

This place is great now! New management team, new great cooks, better servers. IHOP Robinson is really changing the way theyre doing things. This time, my server was attentive and present. My food was beautiful and tasted even better than it looked. I usually go before 3pm. No complaints. I see mostly complaints on this site, but I think a lot of this might be piling on. For everything to be as good as it is now, things have obviously changed immensely!! Before you believe what you read here... I suggest you come out and give it a try for yourself. Its really worth it!!

The place was very busy and they were not handling it well. You couldnt understand anything the hostess was saying and she sounded very bored and careless when she spoke. Our table was squeezed right next to two other tables and we did not have any condiments or salt and pepper on our table and our waitress was never around to ask for some. They sat an elderly couple next to us in a tight corner even though there was an open booth behind them that would have been much easier for them to get in and out of. It was very inconsiderate of the hostess

I love IHOP but this location seemed to different from other IHOPs I have visited. We were seated three times because we didnt have room for six people to fit into a booth, we were moved into another booth and it was too small as well. Finally we requested a bigger table area. The table area was better but one table was very uneven and rocked. Food portions were incredibly small as were the glasses for our drinks. I was disappointed with my visit and will not return to this location though IHOP is my favorite restaurant.
