Im an empanada addict after so many trips to Argentina, and this place delivers. The crust is thin, delicate and tender, not the big doughy mass you get at places like Rubens in Soho. I had pork and plum, spicy chicken, and beef, and all of them were delicious. The beef one transported me right back to Buenos Aires. Chimichurri sauce was on point, hot sauce was on fire. The dulce de leche and vanilla cream pastries were also delish. This is my new go-to place for quick family dinners to go. Very excited to have them in town.

Buena atención, pero en este establecimiento no funciona el aire acondicionado y hace bastante calor en su interior. Las empanadas de pollo se sirvieron casi frías. En verano recomiendo sentarse en la terraza..., si encuentra sitio. No hay bebidas alcohólicas.

I Love Empanadas Cafe!!!! If you are in the area you have to try this place. My visit here was great! I came across one person that worked here that made my expierience that much better, his name was Walter he made us laugh, very friendly, funny and exceptional service. Food was amazing! Would give more stars if i could.

Tried a couple of empanadas; spicy chicken, cheese, beef, pumpkin and cheese, and regular chicken. The spicy chicken was really good. It didnt need any extra sauce. The cheese was surprisingly good as well. Not sure what kind of cheese it was. Its technically not the type of empanada that I like. But it was good.

Love Empanadas Cafe! They opened a little over a month ago and we cant stop eating empanadas. Amazing variety of delicious Argentinian staples. Geat service. My favorites at the moment are blue cheese and guava with cream cheese. My friend who doesnt care about veggies loved their spinach empanadas.

Excellent food! Excellent service. Very chill atmosphere and clean restaurant.My boyfriend and I love coming here and typically share the Milanesa plate + salad and appetizers. Always save room for the dulce de leche crepes or a warm cup of mate! Everything is great. Must try!

Love this place! Where to begin? The Empanadas they make are just simply incredible. The people there are kind and the atmosphere is just amiable. This is far better than any other Latin Cafe Establishment in the city, especially that POS La Isla Restaurant.

OMG This place is Amazing, if I could give more stars I would. I HIGHLY recommend this place if looking for good empanadas thats overly stuffed and very tasty, they are not your typical empanadas from a Spanish restaurant they re wayyyy better.

Came here for a quick bite. They have a decent selection of empanadas. However they were cold when served. Would had enjoyed them a little better if they where at the right temperature. Kinda of a shame too. Perhaps came at an off time.

Friendly staff and great environment for a tiny establishment. Good for a quick bite or sit down on a good day. I was not completely satisfied with the food since I dont like how salty they are, but it is amazing quality for the price

Great empanadas, glad a new to-go food has come to Hoboken that isnt just pizza. They come out super hot so I had to wait for it to cool down, but the beef and the chorizo ones were really good and greasy.

I think all I really need to say here is this: 1) Best empanadas Ive ever had. EVER. Better even than those I had in Argentina only two months prior. 2) Best food in Hoboken. Hands down.

A small place in Hoboken. They have a variety of empanadas including veggie options like caprese, rice & beans and spinach. Some of their desserts are yummy too.
