walked in saw the cash register ask the man behind the counter if I could see the menu I was told to talk to the hostess. I then walked over to the other door and waited standing while other employees walked by I finally had to ask someone if it was okay if I sat down at an empty table they said "fine" she did bring me a menu right away. another 10 mins go by I get greeted by my server I pretty much already knew what I wanted but had a few questions about the menu which she really couldnt give me any solid answers. For one of the items I ordered I asked for no mayo or aoli, her response was we cannot do that and then asked her if she could please ask and again she told me it could not be done for spicy tuna. I told her that is fine it doesnt have to be spicy and to please ask. Now the main reason Im stressing out about this is because anyone who ever has had any Japanese food knows that what makes spicy tuna is spicy mayo, kimchi or siracha. On the menu it says spicy mayo and since its very is to omit that at ANYWHERE I go there shouldnt have been an issue. in addition in the service industry you never say no to the guest. to continue I watch her go back to the counter to ask and the cook clearly nods his head yes she come back I place me order and ask if she could bring over a ramekin of ponzu for dipping she says okay. my first item came out (smoothie) she never came to check up on me, another server dropped off my food still no ponzu still my server hasnt checked up on me. Now of course the place is small so you can see everything. Another 3 adults walked in and the workers dont greet them. They waited awhile until finally they sat themselves a dirty 2 top, I offered them my extra chair. Then a busser dropped off my other plate, I asked him politely if I could have a side of ponzu he didnt know what it was I said its okay that fine dont worry about it. He ran behind the counter and asked someone and brought it over do fast! Kudos to the busser! I watched my server stand around pretending like she was doing something but never once did she ask if everything was okay. I finished my food and had to hold my credit card up to get acknowledged. Horrible. I Never Ever write reviews mostly because well Im in the industry and everyone has their bad days but this was just to much. I hope the owner reads this and trains there staff properly but I try to support small businesses but I must say that was my first time there and I probably will never go back.

There are a few things I wanted to share. Firstly, the food is delicious, creative and not boring and almost everything on the menu is good, from my experience. I happen to think the little croissant sandwiches they make are the best breakfast in town! Flaky and delicious croissants, unlike anywhere else. What is most important to me though is the sincerity, hard work and humility of the ownership. I had a miscommunication with a waiter, and the owner found out about it later, he was not there. He found a way to get in touch with me, and credited my card, no questions asked and sincerely apologized. These things happen, and it was a minor misunderstanding anyway. When you meet humble hard working and sincere people like this who honestly try to do the right thing and work hard to that effect, it make you want to frequent this business. They are a delightful family and frankly this is a place which makes me feel good about spending my money there. I wish I could say the same for other highly ungrateful and contentious experiences I have had, not here! As locals who need solid and consistent delicious choices to help us enjoy life, we should totally support this establishment, and make it a point to eat here. Thank you guys for the warmth of your treatment, in going the extra mile after a minor mishap to really show me how much you value your customers. We value you too!

La comida es increíble, y lo mejor es que todo es saludable. El sushi es sensacional, siempre que voy tienen platos nuevos, se nota que les gusta innovar en todos los platos que ofrecen . Definitivamente recomiendo Fresko y el Geisha roll.

Good place, good menu, good prices, the chef needs to wash his hands thoroughly after using the restroom, the manager had to instruct him to do that after I complained. I cant get over that! Sorry! Update: The owner called me to complain that he has lost business because of this review, I assured him that this is not my intention at all, I understand that he has taken steps for this not to happen again and I believe him. Please do not change your mind about going there, the food and everything else is great.

The skimpiest breakfast for $10+ I have had outside of Vegas. Nothing impressive, the French toast comes with ONLY the toast ... Bread and syrup, no sides, plus add $5 for juice. In addition, the staff of 8 could not refill any water on the tabke until the END of the meal, after the glass was altrady dry before the food came. Service = F , Food = C, Portions = F, Ambiance = B+. My girl and I will not be returning nor do I recommend paying for over priced meh eggs and bread.

If you are looking for a delicious, classy, gourmet restaurant in aventura or the Miami area, then fresko is the place to go. The menu was really original and creative. The sushi was soooo good. I also ordered a really delicious wrap. You can tell all the food and ingredients are fresh and high quality- and the best part is- its kosher! The service was also great. 5 stars from me.

I was really excited about trying the food because it looked delicious, but I after waiting 20 minutes & multiple attempts to get the attention of the staff, nobody would wait on me, not even offering to take my drink order. I told the manager I was leaving because no one would serve me and he said "oh, ok" as if it were no big deal. Im never returning again.

this is for the manager: on Thursday July 14, 2016 i placed an order online and payed through paypal however when I called the restaurant they informed me that they dont accept online orders but the payment still went through and i received a bill of $41.27 even though i cancelled the order and no food was delivered.( i paid for delivery online as well ).

We had a great dinner and enjoyed the delicious sushi and the quiet, conversation-friendly environment -- no blasting music! We had to do some paperwork and the restaurant staff was very nice about letting us take care of our work after we ate, even though we brought in three or four boxes of paper to sort. A lovely evening. Thanks!

Waited a long time only to receive a raw portion. There was only one other peraon in the restaurant so have no idea why it took so long !! They recooked it but had to wait another 40 min for that !!! Portions are very small, and very expensive! !! You have to order 2 main dishes per person to satisfy.
