Beware of the Publix store in Ocala on Silver Spring Blvd Publix at Forty East Shopping Center be careful.....just had a phishing attempt thanks to this store I bought a gift card for a friend in Ocala over the phone.... and right after that had 4 phishing attempts on my paypal account that I used to buy the card 2 for "92 cents" from Borough of Islington London 1 for 2 bucks from Islington one for $5 from "Giftly" these were phishing attempts to steal from me beware of Jeff and Keisha who handled this So far the main Publix has not even bothered to call me back I found out the "Islington" London was a "parking meter" charge....of course it was "phishing"...Paypal tells me they tried to make large Purchases Giftly has been in touch with me...they are refunding the $5 taken from my account and tell me someone tried to make large gc purchases which their in house security stopped But Publix does not care apparently....Jeff was quite rude and dismissive. The phishing and stealing started immediately after I made the on phone purchase. I think either they left my card info out...OR...there might be someone there who has a "key" locker on their computer to swipe numbers when manually entered? Not to mention the person "handling" (poorly) their social media on facebook threatened to ban me for posting the truth. Publix has gone downhill all over as far as I am concerned but this lack of caring about a security problem is the final straw

I would normally have classified Service as excellent as usual for the last fifteen years my family has shopped there at Forty-East but when I went in to the deli after phoning in a sandwich order and seeing the sandwich crew very busy, I asked the young lady (name unknown, must be new) down at the meat counter if she could grab our order so we didnt have to interrupt the sandwich making process or wait ten minutes. I didnt think I was making an unreasonable request since the young lady was just standing around doing nothing but her response was nothing short of astounding. She nodded her head in the direction of her busy coworkers and said, "Thats down there." "Down there" was appx. 25 feet from where she was standing doing nothing and would have taken all of 30 seconds, leading to another very satisfied customer. Instead, her actions have resulted in just the opposite. Management might consider having a refresher crash course in customer service before Publix takes another possibly worse hit to their rep for terrific service.

Called the pharmacy was told that the medication was free but got there and it was no longer in their free list...had Medicaid number but wouldnt take it cause they didnt have the actual card which I didnt receive yet. So wasted time because they couldnt take a few moments to put the numbers in the system to see if my Medicaid was approved for the medicine. Thanks a lot publix pharmacy for making life a little more difficult

Eva at the sub counter was not only rude, but also incredibly slow. Only 2 people in line, including me, and it took 30 minutes to get my sub. Her attitude and body language suggested shed clearly rather be elsewhere. Dont let employees like that deal with customers.

I usually love publix but today I ordered two subs and they were the worst subs I ever had. The bread was hard as a rock, the tomato was green I asked for honey mustard and couldnt tell you what I got. Totally disappointed

So very disappointed. We have been shopping at publix for over 20 years and have never had them refuse to honor a raincheck, even though it was over 30 days old, before today. That is not customer service.
