I can understand why this place received bad reviews. Every time I eat at an IHOP I get really bad service. I ordered the split decision with chocolate chip pancakes, no cheese on my eggs and my wife ordered the Cupcake pancake meal (whatever its called). The waitress didnt even bother writing our orders down and thats when I knew, at IHOP, there was going to be a problem. Now some servers possess the talents to memorize orders like an elephant would but not her. The restaurant was dead so we could hear every conversation between the waitress and the cooks. Once the orders were ready she informed the cooks that there were cheese on my eggs so that delayed my entire meal. She arrives at our table with her toast and my pancakes then starts to belittle her Co workers to us explaining that if they werent on their cell phone while cooking the order would have been right. I know this wasnt 100% true because she was admitting to the cooks that she missed some important things on our order. If she would have written everything down this wouldnt have been a problem. The waitress comes back with the rest of our orders and just walked away and disappeared before I could tell her that I noticed my order was wrong. What was noticed was that there were hash browns instead of french toast. Thinking that I wouldnt make it to the toast I proceeded eating the eggs and turkey bacon. I took one bite of the bacon ready to savor its turkey goodness to find it crumbling in my mouth. I think the Sands of Egypt had more moisture than this bacon. At this point we still havent seen our waitress but we can hear the sounds of rap music and mobile gaming coming from the kitchen. Instead of sitting there for 10 to 20 minutes waiting for my waitress to come back so I could tell her my order was wrong, I finished my meal. She finally comes back with the check, I paid with a $4 tip and we departed without making eye contact. We werent even thanked for coming in or told to have a good day. Im tired of the poor customer service everytime I go to an IHOP. IHOP needs to be on undercover boss. I hope someone important sees this review and acts on it.

Visiting this location with a friend last week was an experience I wont soon forget. Having three kids, I enjoy the IHOP experience because I can order my favorite crepe breakfast anytime of the day or night and the kids eat free. Arriving at this location, we were met by our server Christine and a completely empty restaurant. It was only 9 oclock and I was shocked to see we were the only customers. Christine sat us down and took our coffee order. Thereafter, I ordered a crepe combination meal and my friend ordered a sandwich. In the background and high in the sky from an air conditioning duct was this loud and high pitch sound, much like a smoke detector. When questioned about this, Christine said this noise had been around for days and that she could do nothing about it. Our food arrived. Not only were my crepes cold, the hash browns I ordered with it were ice cold as if they just came out of the freezer. My eggs were okay. I waited on Christine to return but she was too busy playing with her telephone behind the counter in this empty restaurant. Finally, I yelled across the room that my food was cold. She came over and took my hash browns away. This particular IHOP experience was the worst in all my time eating at there. I have eaten at several different locations - never here. Now I know why the restaurant was completely empty at 9 oclock at night. One star to this particular IHOP as I cannot leave zero stars. I will never return here. This is by far the worst IHOP Ive seen. My first experience was horrible. My girlfriend and myself had to wait 30 minutes just for someone to take out order. Then another 45 minutes to get our food. A table of who walked in about 20 minutes after we did got what they ordered way before we did. A few weeks later I called to place an order over the phone, someone picked up and asked my hold for a few seconds, I said sure not knowing that a few seconds would turn into 8:02 minutes of holding. (No one came back to the phone). I do no recommend this IHOP to anyone. And I suggest that corporate send someone out real fast because this restaurant is giving IHOP a bad name.

Spare yourself the aggravation. Went there today with my two sons, (23 & 26) to have a late breakfast. First the waitress hurries us to order, then 35 minutes later, we are STILL waiting for our food and the waitress kept passing by us without giving us updates or even a glance. We got up and noticed our food at the pass, so we waited. 5 minutes later, the food was STILL at the pass, the waitress STILL ignoring the table. We got up and left. Complained to the manager, not that I think it did any good. No apologies were offered. Horrible, slow service clearly a result of poor management. The IHOP on Federal Hwy in Pompano is 100 times better.

My family frequents, or tries to frequent, this IHOP. I say try because usually when we try going its so packed people are waiting outside and the restaurant is small and when busy the service and food isnt great. Usually you leave pretty disappointed after waiting 30-45 mins plus to have a less than desirable experience. Now tonight, we went late. And we were the ONLY people there. The waitress was awesome and the food was great, hot, and quick! So I guess it really just boils down to when you go and who you get as a waiter. I voted three stars just because I know theyre capable of a good time but just lack consistency.

Worst IHOP ever! A bald guy keep walking around the customers dinning area with his belt open, walking in front of the customers with his zipper almost out. Like he was in the bathroom of his house- Apparently he was the manager, also another gentleman passed next to us when we were paying with a wet rug and when he said excuse me he already had slammed the rug against my couples back. Such a rude people, they charged us never-ending coffee which they never refill and not water was served. I will never come back here nor recomendó no one to do so. Thank you for this holiday break fast #ihop thanks!

Im a big service gal because Ive worked in the service industry for several years. I took my nephew to IHOP because he loves pancakes. Initially I was hesitant because I was afraid of how the service might be, it wasnt horrible, but our server was quite interesting, she never really checked on our table, or asked is if we needed anything else, I guess she assumed that we didnt, which I hate when servers do that, but overall the place wasnt horrible, just a regular degular IHOP. Nothing spectacular!

Bad bad bad customer service here. No waitress to take your order for about 20 mins, not asking you what you want to drink. There was only a hand full of customers around 2pm. Not busy at all. They too busy talking and drinking smoothies. I had to stand up and yell to get their attention. But left cause i was dissatisfied. Didnt want to eat there anymore. Ever again i will come here. I had to go to another ihop to get better service without waiting just for a glass of water and coffee.
