I live in Loveland and this is my go to place for Mexican, especially when I am hungry and craving, and they stay open late, which works well for me. The food is great, but what I like most about the place is that it is warm and friendly and they are always so accommodating. I like my enchiladas veggie a certain way and they are always willing to make it that way, and it has always tasted consistently good for all the many years I have been going there. Its like my neighborhood Mexican. We all need places like those. The margaritas are good, the salsa is fresh and they always bring me the hotter, Habanero one. The folks there are pleasant and I get to practice my poor Espanol. So, if you are looking for a warm, comfortable, homey place with great service, margaritas, food and reasonable price, I say go to El Picante.

Great Mexican-style food here. I had the chicken burrito (very cheap at only $3.75) as well as the free chips that come with the meal. Each table has an assortment of different hot-sauces to throw on your meal. My favorite is the El Yucateco Green-Colored Habanero Chile Sauce. Mix it in with the salsa that comes with the free chips or dump it on a burrito or fajita. The inside is fairly well-kept, as well. Each table is cleaned and the restrooms are nice as well. I would definitely go here again.

This place is horrible. My friends come here for Marg Monday every Monday and they have for the past year. Not only is the service slow, but the staff is untrustworthy. My friend had 4 margs and was charged for 8. When we asked to see a manager, the manager was conveniently "out." They refused to listen to the three of us that had not had ANYTHING to drink, and would not change her bill. I would not recommend this establishment to a friend, nor would I return.

My husband and I eat here almost 2-3 times per week. Since they opened their beautiful new patio, they are busier than ever. Yet except maybe for typical Friday nights and Sunday after church lunch, it never takes long to get a table. The food is fantastic, and they are always willing to accommodate my pickiness. Their chips and salsa are the best Ive ever had. Awesome value for the money! Super friendly staff and management!

Fantastic and authentic Mexican food. Feels a bit more "Southwestern" than "Tex Mex" to me. Great, friendly staff. Guacamole (and everyone is happy!) was very good. Salsa (as w/chips and) was fantastic. So many items on the menu it is difficult to choose...wanted to try EVERYTHING! Will *definitely* go back for seconds :)

My wife and I have been going there for years and love it. The patio is great on nice days and the staff are always friendly. Very good Margis and Carnitas. The cheese dip and salsa are also a must Very affordable, good quality, authentic mexican. They recently opened another location in Landen.

There arent enough stars for this restaurant! This place has delicious food, amazing service, and a beautiful environment! My husband and I come here regularly. We can rarely even eat all of our chips before our order comes out hot and fresh-its that fast! By far my favorite restaurant ever!!!!

This place used to be so good! Not anymore! We got chimichangas and I took 2 bites and could not eat them due to the spiciness. Idk why they were so spicy because they are never this way!Also the portions of rice and beans you get now are a joke! We spent almost $70 and were all still hungry.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Once you start drinking margaritas they try to charge you for more. My friend and I each had 4 small margaritas and they charged us for 8 each. They are untrustworthy and try to take advantage of their customers.
