The selection is quite good and varied. The food quality is hit or miss, but generally at least ok. My family and I have taken to calling Golden Corral the "Hog Trough", for obvious reasons. One of the nice things about Golden Corral is the variety. Generally speaking, everyone can get what they want to eat with minimal fuss, rather than pouring over a menu searching for one thing. The cleanliness of the restaurant is usually pretty decent...buffet is kept clear of messes and spilled food. The bathrooms are usually cleaned decently. One thing we do notice is that the salt and pepper shakers tend to be greasy, so I usually wind up wiping them off with napkins. The staff is usually pretty attentive, refilling drinks and clearing away used plates regularly. Theyre friendly, and the floor manager usually comes around to see how the meal and the buffet are (though not always). The clientele are a diverse bunch, making some meals entertaining, and others merely like every other restaurant out there. All in all, not a dive bar or some back alley place, but neither is it the Ritz-Carlton either. Lots of variety with good service and decent food.

As buffets go, we all lower our standards a little. Today,12/24 Golden corral even fell short. With my second plate (entrees) I found 5 out of 6 items were cold. Not cool, cold. Also the flour tortillas were...well, they would make better Frisbees than food. Our server was great. Commented about hating hearing the cold food complaints. The manager came over, and I was quickly informed that the manager was in school for restaurant management. Funny, she was the most rude, least apologetic. She literally returned with my refund (not full check) dropped it on the table, said "here you go" then walked away Its my opinion that this student manager has far more to learn than she ever will at school. Remember, repeat business is the only way a restaurant will survive...and from the looks of the dining room today, management has pushed customers at this location too far. We walked in and seated ourselves...no line. There was no one here which was an excuse given...because sometimes its hard to stir the items from bottom to top...in short. BOOooooo

The salad bar was literally rotten. A manager even looked at the vegetables and apparently thought that black was the appropriate color for cauliflower and broccoli and that frozen transparent cucumbers were OK. The food preparation areas were very dirty. After looking over everything the manager gave herself a thumbs up. I knew at that point that management is clueless and it would be pointless to talk to her about how nasty everything was. The restrooms are extremely filthy. Also we were there a half hour before the brunch ended and all the breakfast items were already gone. I will not be back unless they close down to clean up and hire new management and kitchen crew. The waitresses were hard working despite these terrible conditions. They are very nice and keep the tables clean and your cup full. They deserve better. If I were them I would be looking for another place of employment.

First time at the Robinson GC and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was plentiful with a great selection at a great price, including a senior discount. Loved the coleslaw and meatloaf and fresh veggies and the steaks were surprisingly good, they grilled it right in front of me perfectly. Big variety of deserts, carrot cake and fudge brownies were really fresh and yummy. The buffet area was clean and well attended and our server kept our dishes cleared and our drinks filled. Though I prefer booth seating, theirs is table and chairs, but that certainly wouldnt stop me from going back and taking the grandkids.

This particular restaurant always smells like mildew and feet. You can tell that the foods have been sitting out for a while because anything with a sauce is crusty. When they advertise its for "around $10," that actually means $10.25 or $10.50, and you have to spend money on a soda, and tax. Since the hot food is pretty bad, I end up eating just salad, and for the price, I can just go to Applebees or something and get better, fresher food.

This is a restaurant made specifically for people 300+ lbs. Fill up the slop trays and watch them go but good lord, stay out of the way when they bring out the wings or be prepared to fight. You can also win a free Rascal Scooter if you guess the exact number of band-aids circulating in the chocolate fountain. If youre feeling down on yourself, go eat here at the lower depths of our society and youll see things arent so bad.

I always want to love Golden Corral, but it usually ends up being less than great. The prices have gone up in the last few years which is not cool. The place usually looks pretty messy. I like that there is tons of food. There are good options and you can get tons of steak and desserts. If you need to fill up lots of people, this is the place to stop, just dont expect the top notch of everything.

Food is left out way to long. I even watched as kids were putting their fingers in the chocolate fall and licking their fingers and sticking them back in I told a server and they watch as a kid did it again and shrugged it off and walked away and the kids were also running around and almost knocking ppl down. Bad food and some food is over and under cooked. Ill never return here again.

Experience was great..we had a server named Asha..she was wonderful..we had 9 people at our table, which included a 2 yr old, and she (Asha) kept up with our drinks, kept our area clean as possible, checked on us when she could and most of all complemented my 2yr old daughter a few times..Sasha had a smile all the time and made our visit a good one..

This is really a nice place to visit if you with a bunch of people and nobody can side on what restaurant to go to. This gives you the opportunity to get everything and anything you want. It was clean and the waitresses and attendance made sure things move smoothly and quickly the food was fresh. Wish there was one closer in Ohio.

When you could get something it was good, however they were rationing the steak and prime rib, and out of about 1/2 of the items on the buffet at any given time. Shrimp skewers are being advertised but they do not serve them. There are about 3 locations on the buffet for onion rings, so I guess you can eat.

This place has gone downhill bad...First your looking at almost 40 for 2 people on the weekend..then you get to eat an inferior product thats just being slopped out there with no care anymore....I had taken a two year break from them...guess I need to make it permanant!!!

Going here was a shocking cultural event for me. The best way I can describe it is fast-food meets buffet. Fast food quality staffing. Fast food quality dinnerware. Fast-food quality clientele. Surprisingly edible food. Good option for a large group on a small budget.

Great value! Especially for dinner you can get steak and seafood. Gre. cooked just for you. And the chocolate fountian is awesome! The staff is very friendly. They do a good job keeping things fresh and clean around so many (often careless) people. Great for families
