This place is definitely over hyped. Customer service was so-so. We had to wait for a while until someone came to take our order. When we got our side salads there was a fish scale in my boyfriends bowl and the tea cup had a lipstick stain on it. The rolls arent anything special, its very amateur and the portions are too overwhelmingly big that its hard to enjoy the taste, they all started to taste the same. The sashimi is cut in a weird cube and the CA rolls were very plain. I did like how they have Reisling on their wine menu and you can call to put your name on the wait list.

This place used to have great quality food. However, after several visits the quality is quickly getting worse. The last time I went there a couple of days ago, the salmon tasted overcooked and not fresh. I ordered a bent box with salmon teriyaki and it was drowned in the sauce. The rice didnt taste fresh and the California roll seemed to be over saturated with mayonnaise. They do offer free green tea ice cream if you spend $25 or more and if you check in on Facebook and show one for the waiters. Nothing special, food or customer service, Im sorry to say.

Last night 5/01/16 I had to go to Washington Hospital for a severe allergic reaction. I am allergic to shrimp/crab but, can eat everything else. I ordered their small deep fried ocpotus which I am assuming was made on grease contaminated by shrimp. When I go to anikis this NEVER happens and I always order my food fried there . They should worn their consumers about. I ordered the cherry blosom (Anikis Fremont Flower) for take out and the display looks like they didnt even try. Some were super big and others were little. I will never go there again.

This is a very authentic Japanese restaurant. I took my brother who lived for a few years in Japan here and he said he hadnt had such authentic Japanese since he lived there. So that says something. I love the ramen here. The broth is amazing. They have a great assortment of rolls and sushi, and also have specialties like Ramune and more exotic Japanese cuisine like Eel and Sea Urchin. It gets busy in the early evening so go a little earlier or a little later for quick service.

Ive been going to the owners restaurant back when they used to be on Alvarado Blvd. Ive never had a problem with food. This new location service is a little unorganized, no designated server to a section, they all try to take care of tables & gets confusion. Overall really good sushi

Great place!! Very relaxing, modern decor. Great food!! I eat here alot and never had a bad dish!! This is my go to Bistro when I am in a rush or just want to chill!! Jason & his staff are friendly, accommodating!! Highly recommend this place!!

One of my favorite places to go for sushi in Fremont; fair prices and sizeable portions- I never leave hungry! Decor is modern, service is friendly. They have great happy hour specials too which are worth checking out- draft beers!

Hands down best Sushi in Fremont. A co-worker and I like to come here at least once week to get our Sushi fix. They have great lunch specials and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
