Great live bands and music! Ive been here plenty of times and sometimes its really crowded but whats to be expected from a popular bar? Be sure not to leave your car overnight across the street in the parking lot IT WILL GET TOWED. I left my car and took Uber home and I came back the next day and it was towed (but hey its cheaper than a DUI right?) The security sometimes can be pricks but most of the time theyre ok.

This place gave my credit card to a total stranger. Nothing but a "mistakes happen, come back in the AM" was the response I was given by the manager. Now Im stuck four hours from home with no card due to a bar who clearly doesnt have their customers best interest in mind. When cards say check ID instead of a signature on the back...they should probably follow that rule. Thanks for a fun weekend in fool beach.

Awesome bar. Ive only been here a couple of times as a performing musician, but both times were so much fun. The layout of the bar is great. It has a great inside room and an even better outside patio. If it was closer to home, Id be here regularly. All of my friends that came to see my band play said it was a great bar, many were surprised they never heard of it before.

We love St James Gate, and go here all the time. The last time we went, we used a corporate card for an event, and the bartender added a few extra drinks to our tab that we did not order. Seemed a little sketchy to me, but we will still continue to return. Good Wings, Good Beer, Good Atmosphere.

Good food (cowboy burger was good), good drinks (lots of beers), and lots of good seating. Service was a little slow to get started, but once or order was placed, it came out FAST (and they were very busy)!!! Pool table ($1/game), dart board, music... Lots of fun. Parking is lacking.

My co-worker and I will come here from time to time. The atmosphere is relaxed. The outdoor patio is a delightful on a beautiful sunny day, I highly recommend it. Prices are reasonable and the indoor pool table is a big plus.

Great mix of ages and always a good time. Amazing stock at the bar. Theres also a pool table and ping pong table. Outside, theres also mini bonfires for almost every table. Good food...their garlic fries are my favorite

Very friendly local bar. Cant say much for the music as I usually dont stay that late. That being said, the cocktails are great, the crews incredibly friendly, the beer selection is excellent, and the foods incredible.

God place for activity and music with drinking. Bit on the biker crowd side so no dressing up too much. Ping pong an pool table available with a small putting green in the back. Again, a good active drinking scene.

Great atmosphere, excellent service, and the new cook is awesome and friendly. Last time I was there, he came out to ask how the food was and asked if we were happy. Highly recommended lunch stop too!

The one time I went, I enjoyed myself, but I dont support anywhere that charges a cover. Kudos to you if you do and you can get away with it, just not worth it with Mcgraw not too far away.
