It was a really cute and unique place. They make really good space of their location. They offer three different rooms and drinks when you get them were great. Now for the not so great, we sat down to eat, order appetizers and was never given any utensils, we asked for napkins 3 times and only recieved 3 napkins at a time for a table of seven snd no utensils ever given Remember no utensils. We had to get up and walk to the bar to request our drinks. We ordered $85.00 worth of appetizers, walked to the bar to pay my check, explained the reimbursement methods and wss told no worries the bar tender was aware of her job By the manager. Only after i watched the bartender drop the cash and mix up the money and ask how much cash was given. Really, Really poor customer service. The Manger was our server, and he was a horrible server missing drinks. Very , very poor customer service. Would never go back to this place nor recommend any one who actually cares about quality of care to go to this restaurant. Even after I told the manger. Of the poor service he dismissed our concerns. I still left a 25 dollar tip beacuse Im classy even tho no tip was earned. Hope ur experiences were better than ours. They need to go through training customers service.

I read about this place in the newspaper some time ago and finilly got a chance to check it out. Ordered the Mediterranean Platter and it was absolutely delicious. Its a shareable plate and the portions was generous. I also ordered buffalo wings which were on special for 30 cents each. Thats a win in my book. The steak special that came with truffle fries and a caesar salad was cooked perfectly to my specifications. The staff was attentive and polite, I wish I remembered my servers names so I can give them a shout out. Yes, I said servers, there was good team work on the floor. High Five Guys! Ive worked in hospitality for many years and Im critical when it comes to customer service and I have nothing negative to say about the staff, you guys were great. I just had a couple of glasses of Malbec with my meal but I saw drink specials on a chalk board. $5 for Jameson shots? Winning! Half price of beer, wine and well drinks for happy hour? Ill take that! I will definitely return. Thank You!

When I come here its usually during noon or after noon time, the food is great and the service is amazing. Today is the first time I came here during the evening and it was a terrible experience. The bar tender had a nasty attitude and when I requested a drink I didnt even get it lol. so I had to switch to table. When I switched I figured things might just get better but instead got worse. The service was just bad and When I received my glass of wine, it still had crusty lip marks on the glass, I was completely shocked, however, the food was amazing and that was the only positive outcome of this experience. I would recommend coming during the day around 1 or 2 , maybe the manager is around during these times. But for some reason the service seems to be on par during these times.

Hit or miss with this place. Sometimes (I guess depending on who is in the kitchen) the food tastes fresh, well prepared and well presented (especially with the new Chef they hired). Some of the salads and sandwiches are delectable. Other times, its terrible. Ive ordered their fries. They are the soggiest, oiliest, limp fries Ive ever encountered. They NEED a new cooking oil for these babies. Thats really the biggest complaint because they have a Bruckner (Or Mott Haven, whatever) burger that should be accompanied by CRISPY fries. Ive felt this way for a while before the name change, and have said it to the server. Yet, they you guys dont understand the great combination of a burger and fries. PLEASE CHANGE THE OIL.

Was so excited to get to this place since they reopened after Sandy. I think it was worth the wait. It was pretty good, Nachos to start were plentiful & good (its rare to get both in the bronx). I had the ravioli of the day (spinach) I opted for the mushroom cream sauce. It was off the hook delish. He had the chicken wrap, he said it was a lil dry & we couldnt understand why there was bacon in it (go figure) with sweet po fries, sweet po fries were really good (and Im real picky about that). Sangria was a bit watery, service a lil slow but pleasant & sweet as pie. Would we go again? Yes, but for brunch and when we are not in a rush.

Great spot in SoBro you can count on for good food delivered fast! The awesomeness of Mott Haven Bar & Grill (formerly Bruckner Bar & Grill) was one of the key factors in making the move to the hood. SoBro doesnt have a ton of food delivery options compared to Manhattan so being close to a gem like Mott Haven is huge! Everything on the menu is great - my faves lately are the Classic BLT with side salad (actually really good and fresh!) and the Falafel Wrap. And you cant go wrong with the guacamole and chips or the weekend chicken fingers. And the weekend Brunch is always a guaranteed good time.

Pretty excellent eatery with a twist. The location is in an elbowed section of the Bronx with a up and coming flare. The food is excellent and the staff are kind and friendly. The only drawback is they are severely under staffed so you will wait a minute or to for service but the food is pumped out with out delay. I would recommend this place as there are extremely limited options in the area and this place is refreshing. Very much so the beginning of the South BX gentrification process so look forward to a few more place like this to come.

The Bruckner, as we knew it, is among the first such swanky bars and grills to serve in the Port Morris section of the South Bronx. The food selection is good and well prepared. The selection of beer is also great. The setting is reminiscent of a vintage New York City diner, with a stylish touch and occasional art displayed in the second room leading to the gallery. The staff are all friendly and attentive, while the typical crowd of visitors is a diverse mix of locals and visitors.

We went for brunch on a rainy Sunday, and ordered an omelette and a salad. Portions are generous, especially in addition to the basket of tortilla chips & salsa that showed up before our entrees. The atmosphere is old-school vintage. Theres a 90-min unlimited Bloody Mary / Mimosa special that we didnt try this time around. We did have to wait for a bit to get the check, and eventually just paid at the bar. Theres also an event space in the back where they host open mike nights.

Nothing special, not worth going out of the way. One can get better service and food in any neighborhood diner. Not the same bruckner bar and grill it used to be. The tables are old, stained, and wobble, the decor dated and dusty. Servers are friendly, but not very good. Catching the chef outside the front smoking a cigarette and looking sloppy is never a good thing. The music plays to loud in the main dining room for lunch service.
