I usually get here late so I dont get to try the food but the beer selection is decent. A number of English beers on tap and the bartenders Craig and Walter know how to pour a pint of Guinness. The atmosphere can range from loud and boisterous to quiet with the electronic juke box as the only background. A lot of industry people like to hang out here to wind down. The customers are eclectic in their nationalities witch makes it comfortable for anyone to enjoy this place. Dont forget to tip your server and bartender!

Im at the Duke right now. I must say Im a bit perplexed by the extremes represented in the reviews here. The screaming negatives and the screaming positives here seem out of place. Its a good place and, after several visits, I cant say I ever saw anything but professional and friendly service. It is heaving from time to time, which adds to the experience. Is the food the best in town? Well, no ... if it were, it wouldnt be an authintic British pub!

I liked it! Service was good, food was pretty good, and it has a nice beer selection. The decor is...interesting. I had fish and chips when I went, and they were pretty tasty, but they didnt seem especially different from any I could eat elsewhere. Considering this is a British place, I was a teensy bit bummed about it. I would come back though!

Awesome place to have a beer or something to eat. Its place where they may know your name, if not theyll ask..lol! Definitely a place to go after a long days work and relax with people that have done the same. It has a very homey feel and conversation isnt lacking. Its a definite stop if you just need to get away from it all.

English pub that has some great options...like fish n chips, shepards pie, and bangers & mash! The fish and chips was fresh and tasty. I like the flaky batter! My buddy said that his shepards pie was very flavorful. Moderately priced. Our server was good as well. Ill be returning for the shepards pie.

I really enjoy The Duke. The food is pretty traditional English pub fare. And for standard pub fare, the food is pretty good. Drinks, and drink selection is good too. I also love the old-timey atmosphere. That being said, its a tad run-down...but otherwise, a good time.

Used to come here every week after my chorus rehearsals to unwind, chat, and do a bit of singing late into the night. Great food options, plenty of great beer and other drinks, vintage style, comfy seating. Love it.

Cozy, comfortable and well-decorated place. An oasis among places that close up to 10pm. The only place in the surroundings open after midnight to have a beer or drinks.
