Id been going to this diner for over 25 years, it was great. My last three visits has not been good. Three visits ago, ribs were burnt, dry and boney as if continued reheated. I complained that the food tasted old. I usually stick with chicken and ribs and cooking for more than 44 married years, If I dont know what old tasting food is, I never will. Second visit to the last, I had arroz con polo. The food was not fresh again but I took the food home and reheated it that evening and the non fresh food repulsed me and it went into the garbage. The final visit which will be my last visit which is a pity because I have to go outside of my area to have good diner food, I had buffalo wings which the first bite I knew the chicken was old and Im not talking fowl but foul. It just didnt taste fresh and the bones itself was brown not the beige color as in a fresh bone. I asked the waiter who took it away to get me another order of the wings. Within five minutes, he was back with the same wings but sauce poured over them. I told him five minutes was not enough time to cook the wings and I thought they were the same wings. He said no they are not the same but when I bit into one, the same brown discolored bone. Pure nasty, this time the food remained on the table and I walked out angry, (of course I paid). Im speaking for myself not for the other members whom also was not pleased with their food in which a couple had made complaints to the head waitress whose attitude was not nice. The only reason I gave two stars was because of my sentiment over the past twenty five years.

ve been ordering from this restaurant for the past 6 plus years. Whenever I order my food it takes longer when I use a third-party app, such as grubhub. Ignoring this fact I used GrubHub anyway. I ordered a steak, with mashed potatoes, and sauteed string beans. The restaurant is literally 2 blocks away from my house. When I got my food order my steak was ice cold to the point where I could see the fat starting to congeal, my mash potatoes were lukewarm, and my sauteed string beans were the warmest thing in the whole entire bag. I called the restaurant to let them know how cold my food was and the manager said to me, "what do you want me to do? Food gets cold. What do you want?" I get that food gets cold however I live 2 blocks away from the restaurant if I would have walked to get the food myself it would have been ten times warmer, I also did not like the managers tone of voice with me he was yelling and rude. I then informed them them that I would never return as a customer to this restaurant even though it is really convenient,his attitude and complete disregard of concern was a complete turn off. If thats the type of attitude that they have with their customers theres no wonder what theyre doing to the customers food or their disregard for the customers food. Never again! Maybe your management should take customer service courses because lack of customer service and customer concern will make your restaurant go downhill especially in an area where new restaurants are popping up every day.

BEWARE ABOUT DIRTY WINE GLASSES AND KITCHEN UTENSILS. I came here this morning at around 1:20AM, one of the waiter said they will close the kitchen at 2:00 am but that I still have time to order food. After we were seated, the waiter asked me if I wanted anything to drink. I asked the waiter if we (girlfiend and myself) would have time to drink a bottle of red wine, he said to me, " oh yea, dont worry. We close at 2:00AM but you have at least an extra hour to finish the bottle, while we clean up the place". Fine, I got the bottle, after the waiter served the wine, he served it in a dirty cup, it had red lipstick on it, which I noticed after I have drank from it... The waiter just apologized, he got me a clean one and threw away a glass of wine which we ended up paying for it anyways. At around 2:20AM the owner/manager asked me to leave because they were closed, we could not finish the bottle of wine. LIKE SO MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAVE COMMENTED HERE, OWNER IS VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

I ate here despite their B rating. I received a disgusting chicken wrap. First time I have ever refused to eat something. I unwrapped it and tried to eat the chicken with sauce and still couldnt stomach it. I informed the waiter that I just didnt like the chicken wrap, I left the entire thing minus the bites I tried, but I was willing to pay for the fries which I did eat. I was not rude and I wouldnt have much cared if they charged me. The manager came over and said "whats the problem with the chicken" in such a rude and annoyed tone. He didnt introduce himself as the manager. He was so rude and unprofessional I didnt know how to respond. I told him the problem and he abruptly walked away and then decided to lurk around my friend and I as we paid the bill. I will NEVER go back.

Just an average diner. Food wasnt amazing nor was it bad. I asked for my favorite menu from Diners - Banana pancakes. I personally prefer with bananas inside the pancake but the waiter told me they dont make them like that, only on top (is it that much more difficult to make? ) I went for Blueberry pancakes which do come with blueberries inside. I was disappointed at the pancakes they were stale and lacking flavor. We also ordered the Santa Fe Cajun this was a good sandwich and fries that came with it were good. If you are in the area late its fine but dont expect amazing food or service. I was actually trying to go to a small diner nearby that has great reviews Luche y Miel but they had a private event so I settled for this diner.

The delivery service leaves much to be desired. I was ordering a $70.00 meal (BEFORE tip/delivery charge) and the manager intercepted the call from the hostess who answered, giving me some half-hearted baloney excuse about the driving distance being "too much" for his poor drivers. Guess this guy has never heard of the wonders of the internal combustion engine! Not to worry, though, plenty of other diners in the area were more than happy to take my money and through the experience, I also discovered that their food turned out to be of a much higher quality than this place! As the saying goes, "if you dont feed your dog, he will go looking for food elsewhere." Looks like this "dog" will be permanently switching masters!

Visiting from Texas. Went on Saturday, 6/12/10 for lunch with the family. My daughter ordered from the kids menu (the mini cheeseburgers). After eating the 1st burger she said that it didnt taste good and she didnt want the 2nd one. Didnt think anything of it. For the next few days, she got sick with the runs and a fever. Took her to the doctor and she has E Coli. That was the only place she ate at when we arrived in NYC, and she never got to eat anywhere else, since she got sick about 4-5 hrs after the meal. Also, the other food brought out was luke warm and definitely not worth the price. Becareful!!!!
