Having frequented this location in the past, I was really interested to see how the new owners had renovated the interior. I was not disappointed - The interior is open with a minimilist approach to appointments. Table arrangement provides flexibility in handling everything from a 2-top to a 12-top. There are two bars; drink and sushi. As a 3-top, we selected a table. Food: Edamame was generous and perfectly seasoned. Kung Pao chicken dinner was a generous serving, cooked perfectly and included choice of soup or salad. Sushi selection was the "dinner for two" which included Sushi, Sashimi and the chefs role; American Dream. Perfectly presented and fresh tasting. The Sashimi was presented with just the right balance of fish and rice. Cost - Well, your milage may vary. For me, Sushi isnt a food item in which I wish to skip...for obvious reasons. Edamame was $5, Kung Pao $13 and Sushi for two $46. Note: currently, they cannot sell alcohol on Sundays.

Weve been there twice and are heading back tonight! Atmosphere is comfortable and open, and not too loud. The service is extremely good. Multiple people, including our server, have been very attentive in an inconspicuous way. When we needed something, the server just brought it based on observation, or came to the table to inquire if the need was not apparent. Food, was also very good and the price was moderate! Kung Pao Shrimp and selections from the Sushi menu were equally impressive with high quality ingredients cooked or assembled to deliver wonderful taste. I would say that all of our selections were right up with the best the area has to offer. Overall, each visit has given us a great dining experience. I highly recommend this place.

Sky is a surprisingly modern and chic Asian Fusion restaurant in the Centerville / Kettering suburbs of Dayton. The restaurant itself is clean, well appointed and comfortable. The service staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and expeditious in meeting guests needs. There is a wide variety of Asian inspired dishes on the menu. Also, there are some great daily fish / meat specials posted as you enter the restaurant. When youre in town, do yourself a favor and stop into Sky. In my opinion, its the best Asian food in the Dayton area!

Absolutely amazing! Beautiful atmosphere and great service... We had shrimp & vegetable tempura , Magic roll, North Castle roll, and a special roll that was on the picture but not the menu. The North Castle roll was the most flavorful roll Ive had in years!!! Miso soup & Ginger salad was also the best Ive had in this area and we eat a lot of sushi. By far the BEST restaurant right now in Dayton.

By far my favorite place for sushi in a 300 mile radius. This place is doing Dayton a very big favor... I moved here from Dallas about 3 years ago and soon realized how spoiled I was when it came to quality food.... that is until I found sky Asian!!!! A great new addition to the Dayton area!! Food presentation looks great and the food tastes as good as it looks. Loved the American Dream roll as well as the Kettering roll. Thai Basil Chicken was pretty good too. They did an excellent job in remodeling the place. All in all a very good dining experience.

Great food and service. Sushi quality was as good as anywhere Ive been here or on the west coast. The fried rice had nice, large chunks of vegetables. The Kettering roll was a high point and one of the more interesting rolls over ever had. They also have very good lunch specials.

A modern, bistro-like take on Asian food. I love it. Have had great food and good service. Lots of restaurants have failed at this location. Several of those I was happy to see fail because of horrible experiences. I hope Sky is here to stay.

8/18/16. Took wife here for birthday. Amazing food and service. I brought flowers to them earlier in the day. When the wife and I arrived that evening we were seated at the table where to her surprise was the roses. The surf and turf is amazing.

Probably one of the higher end sushi restaurants in the area. The service is prompt and they have a large alcohol bar with lots of options for alcohol. The food tastes delicious and is a definite must try if youre a fan of sushi.

Excellent. We were up from Atlanta visiting our daughter and stopped in to pick up a menu. I took it back to the car and opened it. The first thing I saw was seaweed salad. We all came in and had a great dining experience.

If Asian food could be neither good nor bad it would be this place. Nothing crazy good, but it was by far not bad. Perhaps I didnt order right or order their signature dish but I certainly could have picked worse.

A relative newcomer to the local Sushi scene, this modern and friendly dining space delivers excellent sushi and sashimi. Im consistently amazed that they manage to get such fresh fish this far inland.

OMG!!!!!!!!! Really good sushi(Philadelphia roll and California roll.) Great service good environment. The place is so much nicer than it was. Its like a Las Vegas bar. The staff is so nice!!!!!!!!!!

Creative sushi options. Modern decor, high ceiling, good ambience. Pad Thai was not up to par (dry and with a strong reddish tint). However, everything else was excellent!

Ive heard mixed reviews from friends but after today, Im definitely impressed with the sushi. It will probably be my Sunday place. I highly recommend the sushi.
