We like to try local places to eat, so I took my girlfriend to Roma Cafe for Valentines. Its a comfortable atmosphere that is expected of a non-chain restaurant. We chose a booth for a little privacy and comfort, but our seats were broken. When I sat down the bench did a seesaw motion and sent the padding on the other end into the air. The waitress came pretty quick to take our order. We ordered an appitizer with our drinks, and requested a little more time. Ten minutes passed and she came with our drinks and took our order. Twenty-five minutes passed (I kept track) and we hadnt seen our waitress. Other tables had no trouble getting their food and refills. Luckily, another waiter noticed my empty glass and that we hadnt even got our salads. He showed up with salads and drinks in three minutes. We passed on the appitizer at this point. Not five minutes later our waitress walked up to apologize because it was hectic there. Seeing all the other waiters and waitresses perform without problem I concluded she just forgot us. Our food came out ten minutes later delivered by the waiter. The food was really good! Prices werent bad, but I wish I had cash to tip the waiter instead of leaving it on the reciept for her. Im hoping she was new, or if not pays more attention to her coworkers The food was worth eating again, but if I do it will probably be to go.

We were a little concerned looking at other reviews that said great food but mediocre service. Took a chance and found a new favorite place in Mobile! We came in at 7pm on a Saturday, they were very busy. Brandi C was our server, she had our drinks to us almost instantly. Salads and appetizers came out quickly, and were incredible - we had the fried mozz and spinach pastries. The mozzarella was obviously fresh and fried perfectly. Were in love with the spinach pastries and cant wait to have them next time. We had fettuccini Alfredo, meat lasagne, and the pasta basilica. I honestly cant determine which one was better, they were all great! A final note: we have a toddler, and it is always frustrating when servers put food (especially hot plates) within reach of a baby. Brandi was instead very careful and put the food out of our toddlers reach. She even avoided passing plates over the baby (another pet peeve). It is so rare to see a server excel, I wanted to call this out as an inspiration for others. Our service was exceptional, matching the quality of the delicious food at a very reasonable price. We cant wait to come back!

I absolutely love this place! Every time I have been, the food is literally to die for. So far, I have tried four different dishes and do not have a single complaint about any of them. They know how to treat their customers too. The first time I ate in the restaurant, the service was amazing. The server always checked on us, made sure we had drinks and our food literally took about 10 minutes after we ordered to be cooked and brought out to us. Even when you order take out food, they are pretty quick about it and if you do have to wait, they give you a free drink while you wait. Their prices are also considerably affordable when you look at it from the economy perspective. At the least, I am very impressed with this business establishment and will be going back soon.

I went for lunch. Got a meatball sub. The marinara was fantastic. Meatballs were only ok. Some time ago i went for dinner i got chicken parmigiana it was absolutely fantastic I dont know if the meatballs were frozen or fresh on the lunch sub it did not seem fantastic it was average or lower the marinara again was fantastic the quality of the meatball almost took away from the quality of the Ragu

This visit I tried the oven roasted salmon, which came on a bed of angel hair pasta with a pesto cream sauce. It was delicious. My husband went for his standard: the seafood manicotti, which never disappoints. We were there on a prom night, and though the house was packed, the hostess and our waitress were attentive and quick. Great service, and always great food.

Price is hard to beat for the quality. Ive been several times and had both exceptional food mixed with wonderful service every time. Ive tried something different every time. I feel confident the veal is the best thing on the menu, and for less than $15 you arent going to find a better meal in town without spending more than $20.

Good atmosphere and authentic Italian food (better than Olive Garden), but Ive found it to be hit & miss sometimes. The first time I came I was blown away, but this last time it was just OK. My sandwich was a little dry. I still highly recommend it, and its still better in my opinion than O.G. I will definitely be back!

This is not Italian restaurant and not mediterranean food. It is not even close to that. If you are looking for big portions with fried food drawn in sauce you will be well served. If you are looking for pasta that is like the one from Walmart you will be well served. For everything else you better go somewhere else

I want to thank the whole staff at Roma Cafe for helping me surprise my girlfriend on Valentin day. The food was great and the staff was awesome! And when it was time for desert I ask her would she be my wife in front of everybody and she said yes! So thank you Roma Cafe.

The food was great and fresh and all made from scratch but the spaghetti noodles were imported from Italy based on the information that was given to me. The prices are very good and they bring you a lot of food. This is real Italian food confirmed by the owner.

We love this place. ALWAYS SUPPORT LOVAL BUSINESS. The grilled chicken salad with house dressing is the best I have ever had!! I crave it on a regular basis. Its so fresh, and sooo good. The lasagna is also very, very good!!! You wont be disappointed.

Heard about this place trough a friend of mine and my husbands. So we thought we would try it! Best food weve eaten in a long time. Service was outstanding! Our food tasted fresh, and we didnt have to wait long for it either. Will definitely be back!

Great food and wonderful service, we had a waitress named reah and she was energetic and kept the atmosphere light!! She also talked me into some Italian creme cake... Deliciousness!!!! I recommended this little hole in the wall to all my friends!

The food is delicious. The best you will get in Mobile. Most might not think much of this hole in wall little restaurant, but please try it. Everything is homecooked, and the staff is excellent. You will not be disappointed.

I never ate at a Italian restaurant I asked my waiter whats the best of the two hard decisions I picked on the menu and he definitely made the right decision very good food Id recommend this restaurant to anyone

The chef personally takes pride in what he makes and came out to bring food and see if we liked it. This was the best Italian food I have ever eaten and our server was so nice.
