Mediocre food and absolutely horrible customer service. My friends and I were having conversation and didnt realize the store was closing. Rather than coming to us and politely asking us to leave, our waitress came over and started yelling at us for being ungrateful generational children whose parents never taught us manners. Shocked, we werent sure what to do with our dishes. The waitress forced us to take the dishes into the kitchen and put them in the sink, which, by the way, is a health code violation. NONE of the other workers said anything or intervened. Not only that, but as we left our waitress kept cursing us out in Chinese. I understand Chinese perfectly and wondered if she only dared to do that because the rest of my friends were white. Of course I translated everything to them when they asked why I was so mad. I have NEVER had such bad service and am shocked to find this kind of behavior in a restaurant based in America. Will definitely not go there again, and will make sure none of my friends go here.

The experience wasnt great. We went there to try asian food and told the waitress that we never had Japanese food before and asked some questions about foods that we wanted to order. One of the food was a regular noddles with vegetables but the other one we asked some questions to make sure we gonna like it. The waitress wasnt able to define the food for us. But important than all she didnt mention that its a raw salmon. The food came and we were shocked, but we decided to give it a shot. She came back to asks about the food and we said we didnt like it but we dont want to return it, she said you cannot return it anyway that what you ordered which was very rude. Also we werent half way through our meal that the waitress brought us check. So unprofessional and rude again. Never will go back. Awful customer service and zero knowledge about the food

Taipei Tokyo is where I always order for sushi delivery, so I cant say anything about the physical aspects of the restaurant. I can address their sushi, though, and the word is Good! Im a long-time sushi devourer and the items Ive ordered from here have consistently been really good. (They also make the only miso soup my son likes!) Fish is fresh, and reliable in quality (though not outstanding). I visited another sushi place recently with much higher prices (and a dress code), and the ikura from Taipei Tokyo was seriously better and fresher. Always one of the hardest things to find truly fresh. Well keep ordering from here, maybe even make it into the restaurant one of these days, even though delivery is so nice to have.

The service is okay but the food more than makes up for it at this out of the way place with a fantastic traditional menu and chefs who should be kicking it in an upscale Manhattan restaurant. I got the Tonkatsu (pictured) with extra pork and boy was my tongue happy at lunch today.

We ask what it means maki in the menu. Women replied maki" I dont know if you like"so I found the translation in my dictionary it means "roll". The Chinese lady I forgive her. My kids love the combination rice with orange chicken.

Sushi is incredible. One of their sushi chefs by the name of Leo is a really nice guy and makes delicious rolls. Havent really tried any of the food other than the sushi but everything i do get is spot on.

Decent Chinese food and OK sushi. I liked the hot lunch bar back before their renovations. I dont feel like lunch is worth it there anymore (especially compared to before). Perhaps dinner is a better value.
