We have lived in area for 39 Yrs. chicken filet was Gr8. Did not have Turkey last two times... not good as this is delicious to an extreme. Cole Slaw is great here also, always freshly made. Two years ago they had some issues, all over that negative time. In general staff is very courteous and checks back often. Sometimes has large numbers inside and things get missed. (Red all the previous comments). Our time saw many employees say hi, even the clean up crew. Very clean with large portions for most items, service is generally quick, but have had an issue or two over the years. Maybe three times in last 100+ times here. 25 times in last three years... no discourteous waitresses noticed

Simply, the best, great food, great people. I always recommend this diner to people, looking for a good place to eat in the Rio Grande area. The food, and service is awesome. I am never dissapionted, when I choose the Rio Grande Diner for my family get togethers!

Absolutely love the Rio Grande Diner. One of my favorite places to eat. It is run by an amazing family who really care about their customers. Great food, nice atmosphere and super friendly staff. They are currently remodeling, cant wait to see the new look

They put spices in menu items that should not be in there. I ordered a side of brown gravy and it was flavored with cinnamon. I confirmed my finding with the waitress. Cinnamon should never be in brown gravy in my opinion.

Been here plenty of times, despite the rumors It was always decent. Waiter was very nice, however the turkey and gravy was super salty and now Im waiting to throw up. Worst stomach ache. The mozzarella sticks were good tho..

Great service even though the place was absolutely packed. Ate there twice over a long weekend and the food was excellent. Typical diner fare done well. Whenever were in the area, this is the spot for breakfast.

Do not come here. Waited over an hour for our food, and had to watch 5 other tables by us after we had put in our order get seated, order, and get served. And the food wasnt that good after all that headache.

Just there last night and had to send hoagie roll back because it was stale. A fresh roll came back but swiss cheese was temperature abused. People are nice and previous cheese steak ordered was good.

The specials are great whether you are eating breakfast, lunch or dinner. Service is great and fast. Good is always spot on. Katrina is a wonderful waitress. Reasonably priced for a lot of food.

I ordered lasagna and the taste of cloves was overwhelming. Never had lasagna like that. Wont be going back. Cost 20$ for chipped beef.very poor!
