I have known a couple of people who have worked here, and the manager who runs it is a terrible person. He is miserable because the club he used to run got shut down because he let underage people in and let them get drunk. He is racist, barks orders at people, etc. He banned any other languages besides english to be spoken in the resturaunt by employees-even to each other. Also, when I went in I had asked if I could be seated in a certain section and he got all huffy, gave me a mean look, actually made a disgruntled sound before allowing it. I didnt ask rudely, but he made it sound as if it was the biggest deal in the world! There is also one in south windsor, but I will steer clear of that one too as it also is run by him (probably with an iron fist).

Good food and a great show by the chef, for sure, yet unfortunately both of those experiences were minimized because of a rude waitress who was clearly not at all interested in making sure we went away happy customers. From the moment we were seated she seemed bound and determined to get us out of her hair as quickly as possible. To make matters worse, when we left we brought our dissatisfaction to the restaurants manager and at best he seemed disinterested and was equally motivated to have us move on. The one thing for sure that the waitress and the manager were able to accomplish is that we will never return to Sakura Garden. There are so many great restaurants in the Glastonbury area, why would we ever subject ourselves to rude and unkind service?

Choose the chicken teriyaki box lunch. Came with white rice, 3 pieces of shrimp shumai, 3 California rolls, miso soup, and a garden salad with a ginger dressing. Food was hot, service was good. Pricing for lunch was decent. Location was easy to find since its in a shopping plaza. Ambiance was alright, though it was just a tad dark inside during the day so I decided to sit near the window during my lunch. Parking spots are tight so just be aware that people will fling their car doors open and hit your car without batting an eye.

I went to the 333 main street location in West Hartford - it the best buffet Ive been to with the exception of high end casinos. The best service Ive ever had by a male waiter. He brought me fresh pineapple and an eel avocado roll upon request, and dessert. Also enjoyed the extra large cooked shrimp, seafood shish ka bobs, yellowfin tuna, shrimp wrapped with whitefish. Some of the meat dishes were lacking something and like all sushi places, infecting seafood with dairy is gross.

Nice decor but the food and sushi was not very good and our appetizer came out cold. I Suspect multiple smoke breaks were taken by our waitress, judging by the unpleasant smell of stale cigarette smoke that came by when she came over. Should have had hibachi instead!

Our favorite sushi restaurant in the area by far! The staff is always attentive and kind, sushi is innovative and delicious, and the decor is so fun. Tonight my boyfriend had the Tropical Roll special and it was "the best roll [hes] eaten in his life!"

The food was not good. It appeared to be undercooked. Got sick when I got home. Apparently food poisoning. I wasnt happy with the service either. If you go there, I hope that you have better luck than I did. I will never return.

Unexpected happy hour, excellent sushi rolls. Friendly bartender assisted my selections. Happy to hear they had a rare sushi selection available, was delicious. Ill be back next time Im in the area!
