My in-laws reserved the banquet room for our wedding rehearsal dinner and we will never go back. On March 26th my mother-in-law went to the restaurant with their catering menu reservation form filled out and paid in full for our rehearsal dinner for April 15th @ 6:30 pm, which was for 32 people. She was given a receipt that was not itemized and no copy of the catering menu reservation form for her own records. On April 15th when we showed up (my whole wedding party and family) to the restaurant they had lost our reservation and told us that they do not even take reservations on Fridays and Saturdays since it is their busiest time, and they only take deposits not full payments. Which does not make much sense when the manager brought out a reservation they did have for Saturday April 16th as an example to show us that is the only reservation they had that weekend. They asked if we had the wrong restaurant and kept saying things that made us, as the customers, look like we made this big mistake. As a bride, the night before her wedding, I was so embarrassed and upset. We persisted in telling them that we paid in full and we made the reservation. After some arguing, they decided that if we pay again that they would get the food out to us as quickly as possible. They also told my mother-in-law that if she brought back her original receipt that they would reimburse her. So the meal for 32 people was paid for again and we enjoyed an average Chinese dinner. Sunday my mother-in-law went back to the restaurant with her original receipt to get her reimbursement. They refused to give her the refund and said things like "this is not itemized like the one we gave you Friday night" and "we dont know if you bought a meal and drinks on this visit". Mind you, the receipt showed that the payment was made at around 10:00 am, for close to $400. Needless to say, this place is a wolf in sheep clothing. It is cosmetically pleasing and the food is alright but the customer service and organizational skills are seriously lacking. We will never come back to this restaurant again.

We went for the first time recently on a weekday for lunch. The interior of the restaurant is lovely with a "bridge" over a koi pond just inside the entrance, colorfully lit and decorated lounge area, and etched plate glass everywhere with the character for "dragon" written in various florid scripts. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. We ordered a honey cashew shrimp lunch entree, one salt and pepper chicken dinner, one pork chow mein/sweet and sour chicken combo dinner, and an order of mixed shrimp and veggie tempura for four people and still walked out with four to-go boxes. The honey cashew shrimp was a unanimous favorite, and the tempura had a good selection of vegetables, though the batter was a little heavy. The service was underwhelming, however. While our server was courteous enough, my water sat empty even after I asked for more, and no one checked on our meal until we were ready to leave. They didnt seem terribly busy, but maybe the size of the place can be deceptive. I intend to return and perhaps check out the lounge and drink options as well as the kaiten sushi belt.

Delicious! The food was delightful! My husband got a combo plate with fried rice, egg drop soup, Mongolian beef, sweet and sour chicken and BBQ pork. It was all very tasty. One of the best Chinese food restaurants we have been to around the Gresham area (Mr. Chens is also etremely tasty and high quality! And they deliver.) We also got. Kids meal, two drinks, 2 deluxe sushi rolls, plate of crab wontons (there was 12... It was way more than we thought for that price), and shrimp/veggie tempura. It was 59 dollars for all of it, and we ended up taking home 3 boxes of leftovers. When ordering that much food (it was a lot) we usually spend 15+ dollars more than that. Portion sizes were huge, so you could probably get plenty without spending what we did. The meat was so tender and that was definitely the BEST BBQ PORK we have ever tasted! Our son (who is picky) even ate all of his! Cant wait to come again! They also have a belt sushi bar. It is so clean inside (super clean) and everyone was VERY friendly. Give this place a try and you wont regret it!

Went here with 10 people Christmas Eve. Yes, it was busy. But, you have to allow for that. We sat in the bar. Which they very nicely set up so we all sat together. The food was awesome. There was so much that ALL of us took some home!! We ordered the family style and each of us ordered 1 entree. The egg flower soup was delish. Loved the walnut shrimp. Loved all of it! They were kind enough to allow us to do our "white elephant" gift. We were there for 2 hours. Granted, the service was a bit slow. But the waitress was so nice and did her very best to take care of us. On a holiday you know its going to be very busy and you just settle in and enjoy the food, the ambiance and the very good friends you went with. Felt the price was reasonable for everything we got. We all had drinks, not the little bar booze. The fancy ones ;) (more than 1 each) The total bill was $196.00 I will go back again!

Down side- I was with my children and sat at a table connected to the sushi turn around table. We waited forever for our check and to go boxes. Once we were done we couldnt pay our bill. We had to wait because the bar tender took our order. They wouldnt cash us out at the main register. They told me to go to the bar to pay. Umm.. Hello?!? I have my 2 children with me. I cant go into the bar. The main cashier yelled into the bar for her to come collect my money. I had to stand, wait and watch 3 people cash out in front of me because they ate on the other side of the restaurant. They are understaffed and not very organized with their payment methods. At least the portions are large and the food thats not on the combo menu is really good.

I will definitely NOT be back! I ordered the Green bean beef- the beef was an extremely soft fake meat texture. I voiced my concern and was offered a gift card to be used at a later date. When I asked if I could either use the gift card at the time of service or just have the meal removed from our bill I was told by the manager ,Edwin, that their policy does not allow that... So to recap: I was required to pay for food that I did not consume and was given a giftcard (for less than the price of my meal) to use on another date within 30 days... Needless to say, we will not be back. I refuse to give a place with horrible customer service my money. .. And it kinda sucks, because their pork fried rice was pretty good.

Sushi isnt very good, service is ok, been there a couple times. Reasoning: i feel sushi is an art form and you have to have a passion for it. The sushi chef clearly does not have passion and there is no love in that sushi. Staff changes frequently sometimes friendly, sometimes you get the feeling your inconviencing them. However. we usually do make it in later so the staff might just be tired by that time. Visually cool looking atmosphere but food is only ok. So I give it a two star because I tried on 4 different occasions and I wont be returning. Its just not enough for me to justify the spendeture. But two.each.his.own. try it! You may like it. Just not my thing.
