Let me start off by saying that service is great. They come to check on your meal to make sure you have everything that you have. The reason for the two star deduction is unfortunately the food is not up to par. To be fair, the whole time I was here, I was conparing it to Ten Ramen in Dallas which is the best ramen I have had in the DFW area. The eggs were cold, unseasoned, and not as creamy as I would have liked it to be. The sapporo noodles themselves had just enough bite. The major concern I had with my bowl of tonkotsu is the broth. The broth, in my opinion, should be the star of any bowl of ramen. But the broth in this tonkotsu felt one dimensional. Basic. A single note of pork water with salt. It lacked complexity. It was uninteresting and nothing special. This is why it was given 3 stars.

Not sure what people like about this ramen place. Had a tonkotsu ramen. The egg was soft and bland, no marinating at all. Chasu was plain. Soup was extremely bland. The noodles are not even ramen, its more like Cantonese noodles, no ramen textures at all. Clumpy and non bouncy. I dont know if other reviewers had any decent bowl of ramen before but I would NOT call this ramen. More like lightly salted noodle soup. Takoyaki was OK, very little octopus. 2 star because the bathroom had 3 ply tissues. Was awesome.

Attempted to order three times, waitress still decided to give us whatever she felt like ringing in the register. Food was on the bland side, eggs arent marinated, pork belly was adequate, broth lacking any depthness of flavor. Took food after asking if we were done and being told no twice. Gave us some other tables check, after we attempted to pay that one it was taken away and we had to ask for our own after waiting another five minutes. Dislike. Wont be back. Much better Ramen options in Dallas.

Horrible. First of all I ordered Green Tea and it looked like muggy nasty water and didnt have no taste. Then I ordered karaage which looked like frozen chicken nuggets and just horrible. Then the ramen I ordered Tonkotsu Ramen and the soup had no flavor and tasted like cheap instant noodle soup and the noodles were cheap and rubbish not fresh at all. Never coming back here and what a waste of money I had to spend on a terrible food.

We went to try this place because a friend recommended it. We ordered our food looked delicious. However, we did not get to try it. My friend had a roach crawling out of her plate. Needless to say we will not be back, and we walked out. I understand there are roaches in all food places to some extent, but if they get on the plates that means there is a big problem. I was so grossed out.

What is there not to love? This place is amazing. Family run and 100% homemade broth. This place is delicious. The service is great and the food is spectacular. I also love the music and environment in this place. Get the spicy Tonkasu and absolutely get the hot grapefruit tea. Its the best, most relaxing tea I have ever had. Seriously.

This looks amazing. Very modern, clean and earthy. However, the vegetarian Ramen is lacking flavor. Maybe the meat broth ones are better but I didnt try. There are no condiments on the table to add some flavor. Service was excellent and the place, once again, is really cool.

Im always so impressed when I come here. Even on their busiest day, the quality of the service and the food does not diminish. My husband and I love to come here for date night and bring family and friends along as well. Wonderful service Wonderful food Will always recommend

I will say that Maru Ramen is delicious and I enjoyed the udon noodles and broth. Unfortunately, I had the extreme displeasure of killing 3 cockroaches in the 20 minute span I was there. One, hey, no big deal. Two, worrying. Three?! In 20 minutes?! I will not be back.

Avtually really great food. I dont know what the other reviews are talking about when they say its sub par. If you run out of noodles just order some more for 2 bucks. Also the takoyaki was great and the atmosphere is really pretty. Expect slow downs when they get busy.

I have been to over 20 different ramen places in NA alone. Ramen at this place is really avg, broth is nothing special, not enough toppings either. The Chinese beef noodle they have actually tastes better than the ramen, I guess the chef is probably Chinese lol.

Great value for money, and great Ramen. My personal favorites are the Shoyu and Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. Staff and service are great, as it the atmosphere. This isnt the best ramen Ive ever had, however it is certainly the best I have had in Dallas.

The quality of food was not what I was expecting. The decor looks great but the food does not match. I wish I had gone to Monta Ramen a bit down the road. The broth has no flavor. The egg was also flavorless. Not impressed.

One of the best ramen in Dallas. They also sell Taiwanese beef noodle soup. The atmosphere is clean, though the decor is not noteworthy. For other great ramen shops, check out yama sushi and monta ramen

Previously called Old Taro Ramen. Their ramen are decent and appetizers are worth having. I see it as a good sit and chill place to hang out with friends. BYOB; also a lot of cute waitresses ;)

The potstickers are out of this world. We got Shoyu and Creamy Miso Ramen. Shoyu Ramen was very good but Creamy Miso Ramen was a very bland for our taste buds. The service was quick and nice.

I dont really know how they got so many google users rate 5 star for them on google and on Yelp. This is the worst ramen store in DFW area because of the dishonesty on review scams!

Ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, compared to other ramen places, the broth was average tasting and the noodles were overcooked. The place is clean and the ambiance is quiet.

I eat here at least once a week. I really love the chicken katsu (fried chicken, curry, rice) when Im not feeling like ramen, but they have the best ramen and udon.
