Used to eat here regularly. Then I got food poisoning... Twice. This was in the summer of 2015. Manager was rude and the place was dirty. So bad I deactivated my VIP card with them. Update. The owner has called me about 5 or 6 times. I hung up him and he kept calling. He said if I didnt talk to him "something was going to happen." He got my name from the VIP card I deactivated. I am seriously considering filing a police report because it came off as a threat. He can see my history of orders so he can see the last time I purchased anything there. His calling is purely to cause harassment and he keeps calling from a private number.

Portland House of Pizza is our go-to take-out place and we are there once every 2 weeks or so, on average, for the last several years. The food is consistently good and theyre often creating new menu items (the Thai Kwon Dough pizza is our fave - YUM!). The management is super friendly and open to feedback, and the staff is always nice and helpful. I highly recommend PHOP, and they often have special deals or GC contests on Facebook, so I recommend following them there.

My server was Jessica very presentable and friendly. When I was undecided she suggested a pizza. Being very picky about my pizza I had doubts but she assured me I wouldnt be disappointed! I took her word, pizza it was. I was very very pleased and have found my new spot for my visits to Portland! Thank you Jessica for a great experience I will be back often!

Really good food. Tomato basil soup, and small pizza with ricotta topping was amazing. Tastes were fresh and delicious. I have a hazy memory of a greasy House of Pizza Pie from well over a decade ago - this was nothing (!) like that! Either the place has changed hands, or theyve upgraded everything. Portland House of Pizza is worth seeking out!

After my first (and last) visit to PHOP, it was a definite PHLOP. Although the staff was friendly, the cheese steak sandwich I ordered was dry and terrible and the cheese pizza I ordered for my daughter was marginal at best. Sorry, but this was not what I expected from a place with such great reviews. :-(

Whenever were looking for a place to eat, PHOP is always in my top 5, and usually considered first when we are home due to its proximity. I have NEVER had a bad meal there, the staff are awesome, and the prices are perfect. Great job guys, keep up the great work!

A small fry and a small steak bomb filled my whole plate but didnt empty my wallet. The fries were awesome and the sandwich was delicious. This was my first time I ordered from them and it surely wont be my last, I strongly suggest it.

PHOP is such a great family restaurant where you can get anything from a delicious sandwich or entree to a wonderful pizza. The service is awesome, everyone is friendly, and the dining room was recently remodeled and looks GREAT!

Was visiting in the Portland area on our way out of town we did a search and found this place. We had two sandwiches for the road trip. They were excellent. Plenty of meat, fresh and full of fixings. The service was great.

PHOP is always our favorite choice for take out or delivery. The pizza crust is always perfectly cooked and crunchy. Great selection of toasted subs, and delicious burgers. You just cant beat PHOP!

Absolutely the BEST pizza in Greater Portland. Great prices and the VIP program gives customers awesome rewards. Lunch specials are awesome and priced very inexpensively.
