We were here for a private event. The venue had set up tents and allowed an outside caterer to come in. We also had a private bar but were welcome to use the rest of the facilities at Lowes Wharf if we wanted. It was my first time visiting Lowes Wharf, but Ive heard lots of stories from locals about how much they love it. It was not the fanciest place, but it had everything you need for summer fun. Sand volleyball, Cornhole, live music, multiple bars that can open depending on how many people are there, docking for your boat and standard bar food. This is an ideal place to come and spend a weekend day, and if you party a little too hard, there are rooms available to rent! There is really nothing else quite like Lowes Wharf until you get to Ocean City, so we are lucky to have such a spot in Talbot County. We had a fabulous time and Im looking forward to going back soon.

Worst food ever. Thought as a semi local we could go down for some crabs and a cold beer, nice sand, nice cool July evening. WRONG. They were having a wedding outside. Bar was not packed, tables were open. Only thing good was cold beer and a semi attentive waitress. This place had NO CRABS. Not even crab cakes or soft crabs. Ended up ordering the Ribeye with Baked Pot. I swear it was a microwaved from frozen and thrown on the grill for marks. Ordered it with "Charring" as was recommended... NO Seasoning whatsoever. Went there with my three boys thinking sitting outside on the sand would be a good distraction. Wrong again. Everyone around us was drunk as a skunk, with foul language everywhere. NOT a family restaurant.

If youre considering staying in the St. Michaels/Tilghman Island area, this is the place to stay. Equidistant from both, and situated in the most amazing location. We stayed in the "suite" with bay views. The owner is extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is great. A party atmosphere thats still family friendly. At 6:00, the band stops, and the atmosphere is much more relaxed and tranquil. Everyone was super friendly, room was spacious and clean, and the location and atmosphere could not have been any better. Beautiful scenery, friendly people, and reasonable rates. Perfect!

a very nice, laid back getaway with a friendly staff, good pub grub and cool little bar. the waterfront area looks right on to the Chesapeake and offers a great sunset on a sandy beach area with outdoor bar, plenty of seating and fire pits for the evening. Live music on Sat and Sunday daytime. Clean, simple rooms all on the first floor...If youre expecting the Hilton please go there and leave this little jewel to those of us that like simple pleasures.

Lowes wharf is awesome. I stopped here with a couple friends from work to see Kenny Haddaway play and enjoyed awesome service from very friendly and attentive staff and enjoyed the water veiws, beach and a couple rounds corn hole! The locals and tourists blend well at a serene location on the Chesapeake bay. I prefer lowes wharf to ocean city any day.

Fantastic views with an excellent bar staff and food. Couldnt think of a better place to spend a weekend. Oh, and amazing Crab Cake sandwiches, Philly Cheese steaks, and Chicken cheese Steak subs. Best sunsets on the Bay

The fish tacos were great! Also enjoyed playing corn hole. Grapefruit and oranges are squeezed fresh for the best orange and grapefruit crushes. Overall, a great place to hang for a few hours with some friends
