Food: 2/5. Ingredients were not very fresh. The "grilled chicken" on top of my ramen looked old and was dry. Portions were on the smaller end. Pricing was probably appropriate at approximately $10 a dish. Ambiance: 2/5. I know this place is new but the interior just looked half finished. The walls are red and the mural on the wall is tacky. The parking lot is just awful. I dont know who designed that building but its just tight hard to get into when there are cars parked there. Service: 2/5. The waitress was nice enough but when we realized how small the ramen portion was, we ordered a fried rice. She brought it out in a to go bag when we never mentioned that we wanted it packaged to go. Alternative: go to TEN Ramen near oak cliff. Their ingredients are fresher, tastier, and although a few dollars more for ramen, absolutely worth it.

This is the first Ramen shop that I have visited in Dallas. This place had a very nice atmosphere although not very flashy. I was immediately greeted at the door and escorted to a table. The waitress approached me for drinks shortly after. Great service. I ordered the tonkatsu kuru ramen which is a seafood ramen in the creamy and spicy pork broth. The seafood was very tasty. My broth contained squid, shrimp, mussels, and scallops. Everything was perfectly cooked. After I completed the bowl of tonkatsu kuru I ordered a bowl of the tonkatsu ramen. The broth, without the spice, was very delicious and creamy ( I did not expect anything different). The pork belly had plenty of flavor, and the add was the best that I have tried in DFW. I will definitely revisit this place the next time that I am in Dallas with an appetite for ramen.

The ramen broth was quite yummy and all the ingredients were to my liking. The service wasnt perfect but Ill give them a break on that since theyre relatively new and still working out their staffing. This area definitely needs some new restaurants, so hopefully, this place will satisfy and have longevity. Ive only been once, so Ill update my rating after a few more experiences. Update: this spot is really consistent with the quality of their broth, noodles, and yummy soft boiled/(marinaded)eggs. Probably been in almost 10 times now. This has become my wifes favorite ramen place, she loves the black garlic version. Ill say theyre and 8 1/2 or 9 out of 10, so for Google reviews thats a 5. Again, as I stated in my earlier review, I hope this place does well and proves that this area can start to support better restaurants.

I just happened upon this unassuming place on my way to a different restaurant. Very happy that I stopped. The Tonkotsu Ramen is pretty good. The broth and noodles are authentic. It is not quite like in Japan, but it is some of the closest to it that Ive had in the U.S. The pork belly for the Ramen was spot on. They have Edamame and Yakisoba, which are not a surprise. However, I was surprised to see Karaage, Koroketto, and Takoyaki. I would have loved to try more things, but I was alone in this trip. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast. Much of the seating is like a Japanese Ramen restaurant style tables and chairs, shared tables.

I would actually give this a 3.5 rating if there was an option. Does not look much from the outside, but inside looks clean and spacious. I ordered the original Tonkotsu Ramen. Broth was very good, but the noodle could use some "al dente". Was a bit too soft. I bit on a piece of metal the size of a bent stapler as I was eating. My friends were pretty grossed out by it. Being generous, I did not make a big deal, and continued eating. I hope by putting it on a piece of paper with a circle around it will make them aware of this, so they can learn and fix the issue. Being opened for about a month, there are room for improvement.

Slow service and kind of rude servers. Took over 15 minutes for a waiter greet and get us water...thats after we asked who are waiter is. Ramen was ok, the pork was disgusting. Tasted like bland boiled pork belly. We also got the pork belly buns. They arent that great either. The pork is sliced really thin and they loaded up the bun with sauce. Through the 1.5 hours we were there we saw several customers who simply got up and left because their waiter never showed up. Tables werent bussed and the host just sat new customers wherever she could fit them. Absolute disappointment and will never be back.

This is my favorite local ramen shop so far! The service is fast and friendly. Its small and parking is limited so its easy to miss, but I much prefer this restaurant over one of its competitors located in Deep Ellum... The other day I ordered the tonkatsu Ramen shortly before closing time seeing as I was sick and needed something warm and hearty to soothe my soul. They were more than accommodating with my last minute order and it was hot and fresh and nicely packed for pick up!

Tried this for the first time the other day. Ill definitely come back and try more on the menu. The ambiance is pretty drab. Seems like they were trying to go for an urban vibe on a budget. The waiter was very nice and the service was prompt. The portions are small, which is nice for lunch and if you want to try any of the appetizers. The flavor was not the best around, but certainly not the worst. Id say tied for third of five in the downtown Dallas area.

My partner and I were excited to try a new place. We love asian foods and flavors. As soon as we walked in, we didnt know whether we were inside a restroom or in a nursing home, the smell was AWFUL. We tried the fried oysters, the red curry chicken and the pork belly. There were NOTHING good about the food, nothing! In fact we didnt even finish it. And the constant smell of dried pee in the restaurant. It was by far the worse experience in years.

I wish I could give no stars. My coworker and I went during lunch break, I was excited to try a new place and the smell was awesome, but thats about it. Portion size was disappointing, and our food was burned. It was almost like they burnt the food and tried to mask it by putting burnt sauce over it. Chicken had no seasoning and the food was just bland. Highly disappointed and still hungry.

I been trying to find a ramen place I actually like. There are more famous ones here in dallas like monkey fist, or ten ramen. However, this place feels like home. The broths are delicious, and the service is great. When you eat ramen you arent suppose to be having a new conceptual meal. Ramen is Japanese soul food. It makes you feel warm on the inside, and happy on the outside.

Not the best building but the ramen will compensate. This is a hole in the wall place and I love hold in the wall places! I came in for the black tonkotsu and it was the most flavorful bowl of ramen Ive had since ippudo in New York. Price was reasonable and portion was plenty! You choose between chicken or pork. Always go with pork in ramen because its more flavorful
