Just wanted to throw out that Ive worked in the serving industry for years, so Im extremely against leaving bad reviews but in this case, its needed due to poor quality service and food. We ordered two appetizers, potato croquettes and potstickers, which didnt arrive until AFTER our entrees. They were decent tasting, easily the best part of our meal. My husband ordered a rice bowl value deal (comes with soup, salad and an orange) and I only ordered ONLY the Katsu rice bowl, to which the server looked like she had no idea of what I was talking about even after I showed her a picture on the menu. So she brought out 2 value meals, mine of which was the wrong order. Whatever, I left it alone. The rice was gummy in texture and overall dish lacked flavor. I also ordered the spicy beef Ramen, the beef slices were basically little medallions of inedible mystery fat. Think quarter size. The Ramen itself was okay. Then we ordered a bowl of fried rice for our daughter, to which we received a bowl of semi burnt fried rice. Our daughter tried a little and gagged. She stuck to her orange slices. Honestly, how is it possible to screw up fried rice? As we sat waiting for our check and a to go box, our server sat across a table from us, texting on her phone while the cashier ate soup. Needless to say, only my husband took his leftovers, which ended up in the trash.

Ordered the r1. Ramen with pork belly. Absolutely awful. I couldnt finish it. Left almost half there and Im a person that eats a lot. Last week I went to ramen hakata in Addison and had the same dish and it was delicious so figured Id try this place since its near my house. Service was bad. The lady that took my order took forever to bring my water that an older guy brought it to me. It was water from a pitcher that probably was old tap water. There was some white particles in the water. Didnt drink that. Also the lady coughed all over her hands and didnt wash her hands after that. The pork belly ramen had barely any broth when it came in and had a bad taste that I didnt want to eat any of it but kept eating it bc I was hungry. It was so bad that after a few bites I lost all appetite and had a nasty taste in my mouth. I dont know if this is how they serve it all the time but sure hope not bc it was nasty. One of The worse food Ive ever have seriously. On the drive home I started feeling sick. I had to brush my teeth, eat some left over chipotle to get the flavor out of my mouth. Sure hope I dont get sick.

Ive been here twice; both of the times Ive been here, I ordered only a bowl of noodles. The first time, the soup had no flavor other than the taste of warm water and oil found in most asian spicy additive. The servers also took a long time before they finally came up to take my order even though there were only a handful of other people eating in there. The second time, the soup was delicious; but the noodles were undercooked. What I mean by undercooked is: more than once, a single noodle was just a clump of the noodles together. The staff also took my order much more faster than my first time; but they took a long time doing nothing before I could pay and leave. They did it in reverse compared to last time; but the second time was worse because I just wanted to leave. I will never go back.

Me and my boyfriend come here relatively often. We have tried many other Japanese restaurants and ramen places but have not found one comparable to the quality of food that this restaurant serves. They have amazing stir-fry (seriously), udon soup that you could die for, and the best quality ramen you can find in the area. The service is typically good, they never get our order wrong and are always quick. They are not too bothersome either, they leave you alone instead of asking you how the food is while you have your mouth full which i appreciate. They even make me sweet iced green tea without too much cringing at my americaness. The only down side is that they get full easily and then it can be a pretty long wait without much available seating.

I believe this used to be a Japanese ramen restaurant and was bought by Chinese owners. They never changed the name thats why Japanese name but Chinese food. We didnt try their ramen because we know the owners are Chinese. The food was pretty authentic, although a little on the greasy side. Service was slow but thats because they only have two people working the whole restaurant. They are very friendly though. If you dont mind the long wait, its worth trying.

I got the pork belly ramen. The flavor was not all that enticing, and the noodles were too firm to be fully cooked when I got them. My wife got sesame chicken, which was pretty good. Im currently staring at the waiter who has kept passing our table without offering a check for over 15 minutes. Theyll regret messing with a local guide. Thats for sure.

Ramen with a Chinese twist. This is now one of my favorite places in Dallas to get an interesting variation on Ramen. Dont listen to the spoiled hipsters who expect ramen to taste like the stuff they flock like sheep to because it is trendy. This is the good stuff and it is consistent. The owners are super nice too.

The smell. Like eating noodles out of a bowl of sewage waste water. My wife and I got separate noodle dishes and both had the horrid smell. Kids chicken fried rice was 90% chicken fat. Absolutely will not return. Ever. Ate maybe 5 bites and we got up and left. $30 lesson learned.

Best Asian meal Ive had in DFW in my 20+ years living here. By far. Basil chicken is amazing, as well as the fried rice. Best Ive ever had. Spicy Ramen bowls are no joke. They are SPICY. Bento box is a ton of food and the sesame chicken was crispy and sweet and delicious.

I go here for the food. Everything Ive ordered is always fresh, savory, hearty, and delicious. The flavor is authentic and hard to find anywhere else in Dallas. Order the ramen or dishes (must order the salt and pepper pork). You will go home satisfied, I guarantee it.

Tables fill up fast during peak times, cuz the food is solid tasty! Miso ramen with sliced pork, add a pat of butter, had really well balanced flavors. Just the right salty. Mmmmm. And a Stein for the ice tea! Great value and family owned.

The food and service werent particularly good, especially for the price. Given how many amazing Asian restaurants are in the area, Id go to one of those over this restaurant.
