The Jewel Box Cafe has excellent food and smoothies and reasonable prices. It is architecturally fun, open, inviting and has patio dining. We sat in an old fashioned wooden booth, I think it was the only one. There was also a balcony with tables. I had a chicken spinach salad, $10 and my wife had a strawberry banana smoothie with tapioca, $5.00. The light dressing and large quantity of chicken and (feta?) cheese made it really satisfying. You order at the counter, where they did a good job of keeping the line short. It was busy lunch time, so the food was a little slow in arriving, but not bad enough to complain. My wife saw the server take our dish to several tables before I stood up with the number six so that she would see us. It appeared that there was a change of shift going on, which may have contributed to the confusion. Also., that booth is off to the side, away from the batch of tables in the center of the room. Im looking forward to going to the Thornton Place Jewel Box Cafe location, which is where we usually go to see movies in the theaters. I want to try some more of their delicious menu items.

This Cafe is one of the best ive seen yet. It has such a professional and dignified feel the second you walk in the door, with their lavish furnishing and hardwood decorations. They also have a great coffee and food selection that will always quench your thirst or hunger. This isnt a coffee shop you can just order and go to enjoy, getting to soak in the environment and feel relaxed really is the best way to enjoy it there. Honestly sometimes I go to Point Ruston just to go there, its such a treat! Also I love how they have a sign that says If I call you Love, will you make me pancakes? because I love to bake and my boyfriend LOVES Pancakes

Solid, casual cafe is a nice choice for lunch...except that its in the lunacy of the Ruston development, which seems designed to drive people mad with its horrible parking and layout. Wide variety of sandwiches, salads and snacks. Lots of drinks - espresso and bubble tea are equally good here. Quirky, eclectic decor with a small upstairs section as well. Outdoor seating. Good for kids. Prices are reasonable - about $10-12 on average for ample portions. Order at the counter and the staff brings you your food.

Went here for the first time a little while ago and I love it. Super chill ambience and I could see myself taking friends here. Food-wise, the crepes are out of this world! I had the Spicy Sausage one and it was perfect. Surprisingly filling too! I could barely finish the whole thing. My wife got the Smoked Salmon one and the bite I had was stellar. We tried their lavender lemonade and that was real good too. Will definitely be back here in the future!

Six in my party were looking for some pre movie food. We scouted out the Jewel Box. Read the menu which has a good variety but decided we would return at another time. Very nicely done interior and friendly staff. Only very noticeable negative was the background music was too loud for this type of atmosphere. Probably cranked by the young staff. It was distracting as we discussed dinner options. Will return and report on food experience.

Jewelbox is a rare gem by the waterfront. Cozy and quaint coffee and deli. Offering their take on sandwiches and crepes also. Coffee, tea, bubble tea, also red bull spritzer. Even options for the roughest gluten sensitive person. 5 outta 5. Costs range from mid to a higher range for food but very competitive given the location and waterfront atmpsphere.

Excellent ambiance, excellent coffee, awesome location, awesome views. Great service, more than your usual cafe as far as beverages and food go! Larger yet more intimate than most cafes. Cozy yet great for groups as well. Ample free parking. Moderately priced. As far as cafes go, definitely one of the best.

I came here for coffee and was happy. I even sat right next to the door and thought I would get cold but they have a heater that turns on every time you open the door which was cool. Cappuccino was delicious here.

The drinks are pretty alright but the Nutella crepes we got to go had hardly any Nutella in them and they were kind of soggy. It was just really disappointing since the atmosphere was so cool.

Wonderful Crepes and the outside patio next to the fireplace was on point. Also afterwards you can walk down to the sound which has an amazing view of the harbor and Mount Rainier

This cafe has really nice ambience and an interesting theme! I cannot wait to see more foot traffic here in the summer, since Ruston is going to be well-developed by then.

The food was horrible! Had crepes. Very dry. Very little filling. Just a big waste of money! Need to pay for refills on your tea. Ridiculous! Dont waste your money!
