I am sorry to say that I could only rate Musashi as three stars. I read the reviews and was excited to try the ramen. When I reviewed the menu I saw that the ramen came without a softboiled egg which I thought was odd. I asked the server and they informed me that the eggs used a special marinade and therefore were not in the base price. I said fine, add one to my ramen. Unfortunately, the ramen was only warm when served and was literally covered in sesame seeds. I finished half of my soup before trying one of the special eggs, and since the soup was served only warm, the egg was still cold. I could not discern anything special about the egg. The broth itself was actually rather thin and not filled with that rich flavor I expect from ramen. The service was great and the place was clean, but I was disappointed with the quality. I will try again and see if this was just an off day.

We had the "Spicy garlic ramen" and "Dipping noodles". The first one with egg and the second one with pork belly. Surprisingly there is no option of any other meat - no chicken beef or mutton; and the default option is pork belly. For one of our ramens we chose to REPLACE pork with egg (which was mentioned as an extra) as suggested by one of the waiters when we asked for chicken. Stragely in the bill we were charged for egg as an extra side but not as the replacement of pork. The drinks were fine though the waiter couldnt explain much about what they were serving in the cocktail we went with our intuition. The flavour of the food was good so the chef did a good job.

Paying more than $1 for a bowl of ramen seems outlandish to anyone whos paid their way through school, and the recent explosion of ramen bars in Dallas gets a bit close to offending my delicate sensibilities. If you want to meet for ramen, Ill most likely fake an excuse - unless you want to go to Musashi. I found myself there the first time mostly by accident, and its now made its way into my regular rotation. The lunch menu is excellent, and Id recommend the pork belly fried rice. The full menu for dinner and weekends is phenomenal, and Id recommend everything on it. Reasonable prices, great people, and excellent food are waiting for you at Musashi.

Horrible service . We got there when the restaurant just opened for lunch. It wasnt crowded. We got our order quick. As we were waiting for our food, we saw customers who came in after us got their food before us. We waited for about 25 minutes and we still havent gotten our food. The waiter finally brought my husbands order after waiting for 25 minutes and I still havent gotten mine. Then I saw the waiter giving my order to another table . They came in after us. We were looking forward to try the ramen and now we dont want to go back ever again. What a disappointment.

Best ramen Ive had in Texas. Even better than my beloved Wabi House. The owner and chef is from Osaka, so youre getting official ramen made by Japanese hands. One bit of advice to the owners have youre servers recommend the egg. For some reason everyone at our table assumed it came with one and we were all bummed out we didnt get one. Last time we went a few days ago we all got the egg and it was perfection. What ever broth youre trying Miso or Chicken everything is on point. Ill be here once a week for sure.

Ordered the chashu don with the miso butter ramen for lunch. Portion size was very generous and the staff was extremely nice and attentive. Decor was modern and nice but lighting was very dark. Chashu don was delicious and probably could have been a meal by itself. There was only 1 large slice of meat in the even larger bowl of ramen which meant most of the entree was noodles. Once again portion size was great, flavor was lackluster in my opinion, have had better ramen.

My second time visiting after a great first time. Something was off this time. The ramen broth was extremely salty and the noodles were so under cooked they were crunchy. Also cant help but notice the interior design of the place is really boring and gives off a dead/cold feeling. Really affects the overall mood of the place. Service is great however and theres little to no wait for the food. Price is high and not worth the food. Wont be returning again unfortunately.

Hands down some of the best Ramen I have had since leaving Japan. Spot is brand new and had a few hiccups the first few weeks, but now they seem to be running on all cylinders. Love the location and ramen quality! Would like to see them add a real spicy paste to the options of available side. Most ramen shop have this option. Right now the only way you can add spice to your dish is by using some generic spice in a shaker.

Great noodles and broth, reasonable prices, attentive staff. After 10 years in Asia my family was getting a craving for some good Japanese noodles and we found this place. It is very authentic with good options and great tasting dishes. They even have Japanese soda, a good alternative to everyday Western theme restaurants and menus.

Love the spicy garlic ramen. One thing that can be improved is the Gyoza menu. It was not cooked thoroughly inside and the "hane" or crust is too thick and soft. Hane should be crispy.

Not a traditional Japanese style. Could not chew the pork in a ramen - very thick and hard... burned chicken meats in a rice bowl.
