My first experience with Don Wang was when the horrible storm blew through Arlington about 3 or so weeks ago! I was without power for 3 days! On the second day, I needed to find a restaurant, that wasnt fast food, for dinner! I love Chinese and looked up restaurants on my phone! Don Wang had four stars! I wanted one that would deliver, so I called! NO DELIVERY!!! Kind of broke my heart, but I continued looking! Didnt find another Chinese Restaurant that had 4 stars, so I decided to order from Don Wang! I order Beef and Broccoli with fried rice. Fried Rice was 3.00 more...really? Ok! I am so glad I got the fried rice! Most fried rice from fast food Chinese restaurants is just brown....it doesnt have the peas, carrots, onions and egg! Anyway, my beef and broccoli and fried rice was very awesome! So tonight, I am craving Chinese! I remember how awesome Don Wang was and call them up! I decided to get my favorite Moo Goo Gai Pan with fried rice ($3 more). I was again very pleased with this! Lots of fresh mushrooms (not the canned crap) and other veggies! I am happy that there was not baby corn, but kind of sad that there was not any broccoli! Over all, this is the best Chinese restaurant in Arlington! I have had it only twice and will continue to go back!

I agree the food is good but the staff have the worst customer service. Just now I found a hair in my food and they just looked at me and said ok bring the food.. like ok! then what? the lady said ok juat one minute manager will take care of you.. after 10 mins.. they just looked at us like we were homeless peeps or aliens begging for food. I dont want my money back bc we consumed most of it, the hair was at the bottom of the fried rice but come on at least apologize.. those words go a long way.. so needless to say, after many stares back and forth.... i just left. Ive interacted with many Asian friends.. but this location had the best owners who lived in Costa Rica and spoke spanish and took good care of their customers. These new peeps... BY FAR THE WORST WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! wish they were back ...

Havent even opened my food yet and already annoyed. First the driver refused to come inside of my hotel, despite the fact that all of the doors are unlocked on all sides, then he argued with me over what building number I was in (after telling him I didnt know, because its a hotel and I gave them the ROOM number), despite having a sign clearly stating "Building 2" when I went outside, then he forgot his credit card attachment . To fix this he tried to write my card number on a guest check. Hell no. We went up to the front, and after all this , I was still going to leave him a tip. He didnt carry change. Sorry boutcha, but I just pulled out 20s to pay this bill, and am not tipping you that much after all this. Will not be ordering again. That being said, food is fairly good and in good portions

Orange Chicken was cold and stale upon pick up. Don Wang has let me down yet again. I made a point to complain to management and they argued with me and suggested I was not being truthful to them and hung up on me. I then called them back to tell them its rude to hang up on people and that they will lose customers by doing that. At that point the manager offered me a replacement meal and I refused based on principle. I wasnt trying to get free food. The food I paid for was cold and stale and they have incredibly poor customer service. Avoid this store. I recommend Sesame House on 2195 W Green Oaks Blvd, Arlington, TX 76013. Additionally Sesame House doesnt charge and additional $3 for fried rice like Don Wangs does.

I have been going to this place for the last 10 years, and since the new owners took over the food just isnt as good and the service definitely is horrible. We call tonight and and the gentleman that answered the phone was very rude and when we got there the food was practically thrown at us, and when we got home and ate it it just wasnt the same it was bland and it didnt taste good at all and it tasted old. After 10 years I think its finally time to move on to another Chinese food restaurant and leave this crap food and very bad service.

I honestly have no idea whats with all the terrible reviews, this place is wayyyy better than the neighboring Ho Ho kitchen chinese restaurant and they actually show you much more respect. They also care about conveniences for you so if you have a student ID you get free drinks and they also have a bunch of Manga to read from if youre bored waiting for the food. They are consistently good and I come here almost every other day. Dont worry about all those other reviews and just take my word for it, this place is totally worth a visit.

Food was okay but had me throwing up after. Staff was disrespectful. Lady kept giving me looks like I was gonna rob the place and the guy was just moping around like he just failed his citizenship test. And whats up with the kitchen? Its behind a wall with only a small cubby hole. You couldnt fit a small child through there if you wanted to. The plate of food barely did! What are they hiding? Huge portion of food but thank sweet baby jesus I didnt finish it all. Id be sick for a month! Ill keep passing this place up for sure.

Terrible. Ive ate here a few times here & there & never fully satisfied. Today, 6/20/16, I ordered Beef Lo Mein w veggies. I was told veggies were 2$ extra. I proceed with my order as I agreed with the payment. Although they have a sign that says please check order before leaving, I expected my order to be correct after having to restate that I want "Beef Lo Mein & veggies" 3-4 times. As well as having good service. Which I clearly did not. I left, got home & did not receive what I had asked for. Will not eat here again.

Im giving this place five stars, but its four stars when youre new and five stars after you get to know the place. After coming here a few times I found that this place in particular, you have to ask for exactly what you want. How you want the food, if you want a fork, if you want any soy sauce in your bag.. you have to ask for it. But after that, its awesome. I posted the picture, but you get a ton of food for the money so I think the rating isnt fair where it shows it as $$ as opposed to $.

First I thought this was a nice place to go. Environment isnt bad and its close to UTA. But soon I found the service was very rude. I dont even know who our actual waiter was. The most important is the poor food quality. I dont know if they use fresh food everyday or not. The eggs in the soup are black and looks pretty dirty. And I used to eat beef there at lunch and got stomach ache the whole afternoon! I would definitely never recommend it to any of my friends.
