I dont know how this place has a 4.4 Rating! The place was ok as far as interior. The waitress seemed disinterested in doing anything. The portions are small when it comes to sushi. The 8 roll is more like a 4 roll compared to a REAL AUTHENTIC place. The "SPECIALTY" sushi had nothing special to it except they throw avocado on top and leave the tails on the end and thats $5 more. I had to tell the waitress to take the plates because the tables were small and the plates were huge and she just kept bringing plates and not taking any back after we would pile them up for her. Overall, the service was crappy and the food was ehhh. NO KIDS MENUS!! BTW! To top it off I was so disappointed about the experience that I decided to still leave a $3 tip and she gave me a smirk and a *tsk in return. I decided to not even say anything after that so I held it in.

Samurai Cuisine boasts excellent food, service, and atmosphere at a reasonable price. I would dine here again and would recommend to others looking for sushi restaurant. Food: 4/5 - Green Dragon roll was outstanding, Pink Lady was very good Service: 5/5 - Prompt and courteous staff. We were waited on by multiple servers. Atmosphere: 4/5 - Clean and uniquely decorated. Excellent food presentation if you are into that :). Booth back rest was loose. Value: 3.5/5 - Standard sushi pricing. They do list coupons on their website which allowed us to receive a free appetizer. Total Visits: 1 Additional Thoughts: Small bar area, probably not an ideal location for large groups, spent $45 on dinner for two. Cost included food only (2 special rolls and 1 standard roll, no drinks).

I was surprised by the ratings. Our server was very disinterested, bordering on rude and was very impatient. When I asked for maguro and hamachi she either wasnt sure what they were or was simply being rude, it was difficult from her sullen approach to tell which. I found the sushi servings to be miniature, a little less tha half the size of a normal restaurant. The California roll was mostly rice and there wasnt much of that.

I had the baked mussel appetizer.. a little too much creamy sauce for me, but a great portion, and tasty regardless. For my entree, I had the Burning Man Roll, and it was delicious! I eat a lot of sushi, and this was top tier. Salmon sashimi was very fresh, and ginger also tasted fresh. Table next to me ordered green curry, which smelled awesome, and I overheard him saying it was really good. Cant wait to come back here!

They do an excellent job at plating and presentation. They have the best spicy tuna rolls in town. I would also recommend any of their special rolls as they are fantastic. For sushi this is the the best in Fargo rivaled by maybe Wasabi. If you enjoy sushi and have yet to try Samurai give it a try. It will not disappoint!

I dont know this restaurant has high rating? This place is horrible. restaurant is dirty and food are way bad to be called authentic Japanese restaurant. I asked them if they have any Japanese Ramen noodle soup and they didnt even know what that was. That should tell you its not an authentic Japanese.

not your everyday oriental restaurant. my wife had thai chicken with veggies and i had green curry chicken. YUMMAY!!!!!! we were going to go to huhot across the parking lot but, the line was too long. so glad we went here. too bad the place is 1000 miles from our home.

The food was amazing. The lunch specials are great but even if your going for a nice dinner the prices are very reasonable. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great atmosphere with a very modern motif. Probably my new favorite sushi place in town.

I have eaten at Japanese restaurants worldwide. The food here was not cooked properly also we tried the sushi poorly prepared very small portions of the side order of rice. Last we all got diarea. What can you say a Japanese restaurant run by Chinese

Had two delicious spicy rolls, but it took a LONG time for them to arrive. Restaurant was only moderately busy, so unless there were a lot of take-out orders, Im not sure why there was such a long delay.

Worst sushi ever. The fish wasnt fresh. It was virtually rice around a little piece of fish . NEVER had anything like it, whoever is giving this place a good review obviously hasnt had real sushi.
