La estrellita poblana era uno de mis sitios favoritos para ir a comer comida mexicana. siempre la comida tenia buen sabor buena cantidad y verdaderamente al estilo mexicano. Pero de unos dias para acá, en mis dos ultimas visitas a sido extremadamente desilusionante. Ya la comida no tiene el mismo sabor. no tiene sazón , no da deseo de comer, me parece que algo a cambiado. Quizás no es el mismo cocinero ... También pedi unos tacos de pollo y casi no tenían pollo era mas vegetales lechuga y tomate que otra cosa. El servicio , no fue lo esperado. vi que una mesa vino ultimo que nosotros y el sirvieron primero y solo pedimos 2 tacos de bistec y dos de pollo . Esas personas si pidieron platos muy elaborados y su comida estuvo lista. esto es una atención para los dueños del restaurante para que mejoren su calidad y mejoren esos detalles que le hacen mucho daño a este tipo de negocios. A lo mejor nadie se los ha dicho , muchas veces hay cosas que uno no se da cuenta.. y están pasando. de verdad, que me gustaría volver , pero bajo esas condiciones no.

Bueno se supone que es un restaurante mexicano, primero pedí unos chilaquiles, los cuales solo eran salsa casi cruda sin sabor, mi esposa pidió unos huevos a la mexicana, grave error los vegetales solo estaban quemados pero no cocinados, en atención no me puedo quejar, pero por obvias razones yo quería comer, que decepción...:(

La comida esta muy mal parece que la hacen de mala gana sin sabor y seca.pedi unas enchiladas de mole y solo le pusieron. Mole por ensima y abajo estaban sacas la sangria no tenia ni Un pedazo de Fruta tiempo atras la comida era buena y El servicio tambien. In this time the food was bad and the service too.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and seated right away. I felt important and I think thats a good feeling when you go to a restaurant. The Salsa for the chips are on the spicy side but I loved it. Lets talk about the entree. The best one was the Chile rellenos. It was perfect, moist and juicy. The steak quesadilla was good, maybe a lil more cheese next time but was delicious anyways. The chicken in the enchiladas was too dry and bland for me. Service was quick and didnt wait too long for the food to come out. Definitely coming back!

I went to the doctors office for an appointment. When I came out I was starving. Being new to the area was happy.I saw this place & ordered a pork burrito.Well after a while I didnt feel well at all ! I got so SICK. I was vomiting for hours, sweating, I slept for the rest of the day didnt eat for 2 days.My stomach was in pain.GOOD OLD FASHION FOOD POISINING ! And I paid hard for that meal .BEWARE ! I STILL PASS THIS PLACE OUTSIDE SCARED ! Goodluck ! Maybe you have better luck than me ! My old review is gone, they somehow removed it !

This place was a good affordable place to eat in the past but that has changed. I order an plate of Pork Chops and beans, the lady said it was $20? I was surprised because just about a month ago the order was $12.95 and that was the price on the website. The manager told me that the pork chops went up in price from $12.95 to $15.95 plus tax and delivery charge $20+. Mind you, we are in the Bronx and the other local restaurants are very affordable. I guess I will be eating at Taqueria Tiaxcalli instead a smaller but better restaurant.

in the past while dinning in its a great experience however for delivered orders its always a problem. even ordering on grubhub didnt make a difference. I live 2 blocks away from the restaurant and they took exactly 1 hour 15 minstrel to get my order to me. lied and said my order left already then said the key are preparing it again. then the delivery gut stood at the door as if Im suppose to give him a tip. after the big hassle. my food was cold. I will never order there again.

I have been a loyal customer of EP - Castle Hill for years. I have always loved authentic Mexican tacos from childhood and had a favorite spot as a child in Brooklyn. I moved back to NYC after years of living abroad and was fortunate enough to come to find this location love it! I am currently living in Florida and made it a point to come and get my fix!!! Even ordered to go after eating in... nerver enough! I wish I had two stomachs!!!

Holy Fu**ing S#!T!!! This food is Literally OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! This is the BEST mexican food i have ever eatten in my life!! I just wish that they open up more of their restaurants in Manhattan.. I GUARANTEE THEY WILL DEFINITELY SUCEED IN MANHATTAN AS WELL!!! I USUALLY order Guacamole (super fresh and tasy), Queso Fundido( Cheese Fondue) its the BOMB!!, the tacos are awesome, the nachos are also banging!!

Went on Wednesday late afternoon. They were not that busy and got a seat quickly. We have never had to wait for a seat. The waitress was so sweet and hopeful. Frozen margarita was great. We ordered and they give you chips and salsa, which is spicy and delicious. Had enchiladas and the hot plate which came quickly and delicious. Would recommend to anyone that loves mexican food.

Ive heard that this place is very good. I live in the neighborhood and they always dump all their food waste in the street right in front of the restaurant in the morning. It smells absolutely disgusting leaves an odor for a couple of hours after it is cleaned off the street. I will never eat here because of the awful smell and sight of their food waste. Gross!

The food is great but, they have live mariachi singers that are so Annoying!! They sing over you the trumpet be right in your ear. They pushed me out is what they did! I couldnt enjoy my food because they were serenating someone close to me & the man decided, hey why not another song! Thats it I was done....soI will go on a weekday not on a weekend next time.

I just came out from estrellita poblana from westchester ave and im really angry i was waiting for my orden of quesadillas with french fries and i had to cancel the order because i saw the cooker putting his hand without cloves to the fries and thats so nasty i told them and they didnt even say sorry to me but thats ok i wont go there no more in my life

The food wasnt so bad, as well as the service was great, but the music they played wasnt. If I come to a Mexican restaurant, I expect the atmosphere to follow the food culture as well. I was confused what kind of restaurant I was in, I kept hearing salsa and bachata. Their lost for not putting Mexican music, or I would have ordered more drinks.
