We planned a 70th birthday for my father-in-lawn in the Blackthorne Lounge at The Dubliner on the Delaware during one of the hottest days of the year. While planning the party, we worked primarily with Mike and Robert, the owners. Both Irish natives, they could not have been more helpful and welcoming. We were working on a budget and came up with a paired down menu for our guests. We picked from the Dubliners already incredible menu. The smaller menu helped us budget better and also gave our guests some of the best dishes that the The Dubliner had to offer. When it came time for the big day, we were greeted by our hosts and waiters, Michelle and Joe. The pair were with us the whole night. With these two running the floor, our guests stomachs were always full and they never had an empty glass. They really helped keep the party moving and organized. Cheers to the both of you! By the end of the night, we were listening to one of the bars great live music acts and native to Ireland, Ray Coleman. It was the perfect way to close out the night and a great way to celebrate a birthday. Thanks again Mike, Robert, Michelle and Joe! Sincerely, Rob + Courtney

How much better can an Irish Pub get? Authentic Irish food with live Irish entertainment and perfectly "set up" stout! I would recommend anything on their menu, but Im especially fond of their shepherds pie and their Irish breakfast. And dont leave without trying their desserts. The chocolate pot au crème and the Baileys crème brulée are to die for!

The atmosphere and service here is fantastic! We were seated quickly, and our server really took his job seriously. He was personable, speedy, and gave us just the right amount of pass bys to see if we needed anything. The food was delicious (especially the fries) and the Guinness combo variety was new and wonderful.

The bartender forgot to put in our order, apologized which was nice but then we waited another 40 minutes for the food to come out. Was the worst Irish breakfast Ive ever had in this country and there was no attempt to take anything off the bill or buy a round. Will not come back nor recommend this place.

Cant do the Dubliner w/o a Guiness. Nice pour (could have used a shamrock). Great local Jazz talent from Lambertville NJ. Lively bar up front. Extremely friendly servers. Desserts were enjoyed in our party. The carrot cake seems to be something special.

Great owners and management! Our couple had the Irish Fritters which were banging.....my GF had a salad that she raved about. I got tried the Irish Bacon Burger.....that fell flat......ate half of it. Was crowded and waitress kinda of got "lost" many times.

Great happy hour! 4-7 on weeknights, I believe, with a fairly extensive $5 food menu as well! Very pleasant bar area with additional seating upstairs and in another first-floor bright dining room. Looking forward to going back!

The most authentic Irish place in Lambertville/New Hope. Owners are fantastic people, beer is great and food is excellent. If youre looking for a legitimate Irish establishment youre found it.

Fantastic! A bit of Ireland on the Delaware. Food, drinks, and service were outstanding. When youre in New Hope treat yourself to a little gem of a pub. Try the Dubliner.

Went there today for lunch. They charged me $17 for a steak salad three very small pieces of meat. The chicken wings were small and had almost no meat on them.

One of my favorite places to eat in New Hope. Great food, amazing beer. Its a smaller quaint warm bar. It really feels like you are in a local pub in Ireland.

I had the bacon cheese burger. Over cooked and the bacon wasnt crispy. Fries are pretty good, but could be crunchier.
