So - I have been coming here for 5 yrs and last night was the worst experience. Please be aware- I understand its a buffet and not a high pricey restaurant - but certainly whether I am at McDonalds, Golden Corral or Ruth Chris or even Flemmings- Im going to expect that I can feel comfortable in knowing the servers are sanitary. I witnessed an employee coughing blatantly out in the air several times - by the service station without covering his mouth with arm, wrist or hand and proceed to keep working. I then witnessed the same worker sniffle and take the palm of his hand in an upward motion and wipe his nose upward as if he was wiping snot off of his nose and then wiped his hand on his apron and proceeded to move dishes from the service station. HE NEVER WASHED HIS HANDS!!!!!! I WATCHED HIM THE WHOLE TIME!!!! This is DISGUSTING and I really dont care again if its a buffet style- its no cause to be straight up nasty. I might add when I called and spoke to one of the managers all he said was he will talk to him and they strive to make sure sanitary conditions were met. I will definitely pass. Now I see why I would beg my children to go here- now I get it. Everytime I ask them if they want Golden Corral they go "Ugh - its nasty in there can we just go to Burger King" - but I thought they were just being "mean" but truthfully my kids would rather eat a 99 cent hamburger than here- and I must say - now I agree with them. Aside from utensils always being dirty and unsupervised children under the age of 12 all in the food (which I can deal with but still not cool) - this was def a situation that after 5 yrs of visiting - has made me turn my back from this location. 1 star means "Hated it" by the way. Lets just be clear.

Before I start this rant, did I mention I found stuff in my food? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We are FORCED to come here every Friday. Whenever we pass KFC (which updated its look a bit, changing the square logo (not the sign) from the 1997 logo to the 2006 logo), China Express, and a mansard-roofed McDonalds, thats how people know that they are at Snellvilles Golden Corral (which is near Bojangles). At first I grieve and bang my head on the car door. Sometimes hungry flies come here and hover around the people that are eating. The dessert is kinda good, and so is the steak. But one day I saw a man wiping his snot on his arm, and he was sneezing and possibly spitting saliva (It made me lose my appetite, watch out for the people that come around here, I also once saw a fat/obese woman eating lots of yeast!), the good thing is that he was way over there from where we were eating. The customer service is friendly, but here are the downsides: .The only pies around here are sugar free. .Sometimes I find other peoples food crumbs on the floor,so I have to raise my feet up, like how I do on buses. .Golden Corral always airs television adverts, and whenever they air one, dad forcefully drives us to this trash heap. .Sometimes people get small nut pieces on my gummy bears. .The radio station that plays inside the restaurant is a mix of disco, R&B, modern pop music, and country music. I cant hear the lyrics with loudmouthed people chattering (not you guys)! .I find stuff on my food every time!!! Next time, Im running away to Missouri. St.Louiss Golden Corral is the best Golden Corral ever, especially during Thanksgiving. GOLDEN CORRALS SUCK!

I went on new years day thinking it would be empty since most people make their new years resolutions and all. BIG mistake. It was extremely full. I understand lines have to be made, that part is fine. I normally like to eat pulled pork with different sides, so i go ask one of the girls behind the plate glass if they were serving pulled pork. I might as well have said it in Russian. She asked me to repeat it five times. When she finally understood tat i was saying pork, she told me i had to be more specific about what kind of pork , that they have about 25 different types (with a bad attitude), turned around and walked away. I also asked a MANAGER if they had an item whose tray was empty, he said sorry were not serving that anymore. Just as he turned around and walked away another employee brought the item and filled the tray. I like golden corral, Ive been to the one in Buford, and that location is better than this one by leaps and bounds. Lets be realistic here, this is an all you can eat buffet. I am not dining at Ruths Chris steakhouse. But what i would appreciate is being served by servers/waiters/managers who actually take the time to help me, and not just dismiss whatever i say, much less not command the English language properly....I will probably not return to this location solely on the fact that a manager was so dismissive. That speaks volumes about the place. If a manager doesnt address a customers questions, it is all downhill from there. I will give it two stars because like i said before it is an all you can eat buffet, i ate different foods, the food at times was all sloppily mixed together, but it was new years day...

First off, it was a Saturday night and not a real busy typical Saturday. The front end was terrible. Slow. Very slow. Making drinks and getting customers through the line. Once we finally got our drinks in which took around 20 minutes, we finally found seating. Upon arriving to the bar there were minimum items on the bar that were available. No fried chicken, mash potatoes, mac and cheese, the key items that people actually come here to eat. We just basically settled for what we could get and tried to enjoy our meal. We actually arrived here around 7:35, got our drinks at 8:02 and finally got our food items that we came for around 8:47. This was the worst restaurant I have been to in my 20 years of dining out. The only thing that actually salvaged this experience was our server Lisa. I will never return nor refer anyone to this location. This place needs new management. Not once did we see a manager nor did a manager seemed concerned about the quality or operations of this restaurant. To be honest with you, for a Saturday night with any or minimum guidance from management, its a wonder why this location is still open. Not what I expected at all....

Generally a wide selection. Lots of southern fare. Rotisserie chicken is unpredictable. Usually perfect, though on rare occasions mushy (pumped with water/broth) and consequently undercooked. This location has a wider selection than others nearby. I wish they would offer all guests cards to fill out on what guests like and dislike. Maybe then the childrens clown-party deserts would be abandoned in favor of a limited selection with a higher quality. Skipping desert, I usually have a good meal here. Excepting the lower value without desert. Drink options are limited to tap water, high fructose diabetes syrup, or the delightful aspartame chemical baths that most thoughtless restaurants offer. A few months ago the manager wanted us to fill out reams of paper to void a Visa transaction after being over charged - until I put my foot down. Then he was magically able to press a few buttons, issue a refund then charge the correct amount and save the rainforest. Neither staff or parents stop young children from serving themselves. This must be addressed. Avoid weekends if you dont like crowds in a buffet. Issues aside, we eat here semi regularly.
