I have to say that I am no longer going to be patronizing Jiffys. I was there a couple of days ago to get a salad, and this is the second time Ive noticed that the workers do NOT wear gloves when preparing food. I pulled the manager to the side about six months ago when I first noticed it, and let him know that the store was in violation. Once again, I go in and intentionally position myself so that I can see them making my food. And once again, the chick preparing my salad was not wearing gloves. The first time I noticed it six months ago, I was totally grossed out because the chick looked like a crack head digging all in my salad. She looked like she had just popped out of a back alley, and scabs on her arms. I just did not want my food at that point. At least this time, the woman preparing my food looked decent. But this is not about looks. Its about safety concerns. Ive seen the workers out back on their breaks smoking cigarettes and doing whatever. I will NOT be going back again, and you shouldnt either!

I waited 10 min in line to have the guy at the counter, who looked like he just smoked a blunt, tell me I would be charged extra for subbing a meat out for another because everything is pre portioned. You cant make your own sandwich? You can only choose from the pre portioned sandwich selection they have. I got a pizza instead which was pretty decent at best. Overall just a ghetto, trashy, dirty place with ridiculous rules and over priced, mediocre food.

Long-standing, family-owned pizza and sub shop outside the main gate at Andrews. The subs are phenomenal! I usually order the Italian with LTO, hot peppers, oil & vinegar...yum! The 12" subs are truly large, so bring your appetite! Service is polite and prompt. It gets busy during lunch given the proximity to JB Andrews, but the kitchen cranks out orders very quickly and efficiently. Theres ample booth seating if you choose to eat in.

really REALLY good cheesesteaks! the meat is tender and never dry. A good amount of cheese that melts into the bread nicely. Get the hot peppers and just enjoy as is! I took it home and added a touch of salt and pepper with some ketchup to see what all the buzz was about in Philly. But hey, this sub was crazy delicious, ketchup or not. I wouldnt eat there but who cares. I wouldnt eat at any other sub shop anyway.

Ive been going to just shop for over ten years and though theyve been great they recently have slacked on their order taking everything that I ordered was completely wrong and me being a person that trust the owner and the quality of service throughout a decade got in my car and went home to realize that my whole order was wrong that is why I have removed a star otherwise it will be a complete five

I have been coming to this place since 1997, when I was stationed on Andrews AFB, now Im retired living in northern MD, I still make my way to them a few times a month. They have a wide variety menu but their gyros are the best around, bar none. Its a family owned and operated and a great friendly atmosphere. Come try their food and youll be addicted....

? Really?? That guy mustve been hanging out with Trent Williams or Fred Davis before he came to get a cheesesteak. If youre looking for a cheesesteak with real steak go elsewhere. Unfortunately I will never be back. Especially that my stomach is starting to perculate while Im writing my review. Hope I dont doodoo in my pants

If youre look for great greasy food, look no further. They have everything. And if they dont have it on the menu they will probably make it for you. Dont forget to try the mumbo sauce, its the best. Staff is normally friendly and interactive same with the local customers. They stay out extra late too.

Small place with a lot of options and friendly staff. I love locally owned businesses and this one has been around for awhile. Dont do cheesesteak. Instead of pieces of steak its more like sheets of steakems. Most other things are hit or miss but the natural fries and pizza are consistently good.

This is one of the best little known places near Andrews. Seems it is mainly known to people that work on the base. The lamb gyros are the best I have ever had and the prices are great. The fried mushrooms are also worth a try as they are pretty delicious.

Got the Club Sub for a very late night dinner yesterday and was back in today for their spaghetti and meatballs dinner. Huge portions and great flavor. Real people serving real food! Dont try to read this book by its cover - youll miss a great meal.

Went for the first time today. Theyre super nice, fast, and the food was good. A little bit of everything for everyone. Definitely gives you that family feel when you walk in the door. Oh and sweets are bangin!!! Thanks for making lunch! :)

OMG!!!! A friend bought me here and Im hooked. I will drive all the way from Loudon county ,Va just for the streak fries alone. And the music playing took me back to my childhood when I lived on post at Andrews. Just yummy.

The Pizza is over the top!!! I would eat their pizza everyday if I could. It is addictive/excellent. I have to drive past the shoppe almost everyday. What torture! The veggies are fresh. The food is excellent!!!!!!

Best subs in the area. You can order any subs and it will taste good!!! Ive been coming here since the 80s and theyve always maintain those good tasting subs. Add some fries to your meal and its over!!
