We use to enjoy going here, and they use to treat us well, both on busy days and on days when the restaurant was nearly empty. In fact the first time we ate there, they gave my 80 year old mom a VIP card. Tonight was a different story. They were busy but there were no lines and plenty of open tables. A very young hostess was there. She sat me and my mom at the worst table they had in the back corner (walked by some perfectly fine ones). There was barely enough space to pull the chairs out to sit down. The blinds were crappy and the sun glare was in my moms eyes. The party behind us was split across two tables with the aisle in between so a very big guy was leaning over practically in my moms face talking to his wife on the other side of the room. We asked to move. A very nice waiter looked around for a new table (again there were PLENTY of empty tables, and no line). He said he had to ask the hostess if we could have the table he picked out. She said ok. The young hostess actually moved all of our stuff (chips, menus, silverware). My 80 year old mom walks slow and with a cane so I directed her to our new table, which was fine. We got all our stuff settled and sat down. We were about to open the menus when the SAME young hostess came over and said (these were her exact words): "Im sorry, I need this table for a reservation". She wanted us to move again. Instead I told her we were done and were leaving. On the way out, she made a snotty comment (dont know if was to me or to one of her co-workers or to her boss), she said in a snotty tone "well I said I was sorry". Thanks for ruining our evening. It took 20 minutes to drive there, and 20 minutes to drive back home. So much for the VIP card, we werent even treated with common decency. I dont think we will be going back here (to bad for them, we eat our ALOT!)

My wife and I are real Mexican food snobs, we have a favorite restaurant and everything else falls short. Way short. Tonight we found ourselves in Strongsville and a friend told us we should check out Gran Fiesta. For the first time ever, our favorite restaurant is the one thats fallen short. Gran Fiesta now sits atop our favorite Mexican restaurant heap. If only it wasnt so far away. Lets get the easy stuff out of the way. The place was squeaky clean, had a very nice atmosphere, some of the best salsa wed ever had and a good selection of beers and booze. We decided on the dinner platter for two. It could have fed four or five. There was steak, chicken, chorizo (my favorite), shrimp, pulled pork (something new to us at a Mexican joint), green peppers, onions, and on the side there was rice, extremely fresh refried beans, lettuce, sour cream, guac, and pico de gallo. They brought it out on a covered dish and when the server removed the cover we couldnt believe how much food was on there. I thought there had to be an overturned plate under all that food which they piled it on to make the appearance of more food. Not so. We brought so much home that it will easily make another dinner and maybe lunch the day after that. On top of all this, the food was extremely fresh, everything tasted great and nothing was skimped on. I figured they would throw in four or five shrimp, I didnt count them individually, but they were plentiful. If you live anywhere in the Stongsville area, love Mexican, hate chain restaurants, and want great, fresh food thats a great value be sure to check it out. Good stuff all the way around.

This place was terrific. The service was OK and the food order came very fast. The chips were warm and the standard house salsa tasty...plus I ordered the hot and mixed it all into the regular. I like spicy and the combo was perfect. For the main course I ordered the combination number 13...which was a chilli relleno , a burrito and an enchilada. One chicken and the other beef. Every one was delicious. For $8.99 I was stuffed and very satisfied. The only thing missing was horchata as they dont serve it. I will definitely return when in the area again.

Gran Fiesta is the best Mexican Food I have ever had. Everything is always fresh and the plates are always warm. Every single time I go there I am greeted by the friendly owner Jose and his wonderful family. They make you feel welcome and accomodate anything you need with your meals. The margaritas are to die for and they have so many specialty drinks to choose from. They just built a brand new patio a few summers ago and it is beautiful. Over all I would give this restaurant a 25 out of 10. Well done Gran Fiesta!!!!

What can I say...Gran Fiesta is my favorite.... I love Mexican food but can never find anything that measures up to this. Great atmosphere, sevice is always prompt and very friendly. The food is plentifull, fresh, with a great variety on the menu. Most important is its delicious! This is the place I go for special occasions. ( If I didnt limit it to birthdays and special celebrations, Id weigh 500lbs!)....

We have been eating here often for years. They have the best Mexican food in the area and the service is always great. My favorites are the steak fajitas, burrito norteno, and juanitos carnitas. And of course the margaritas are awesome too. If you like heat ask for the homemade hot salsa, its excellent.

I used to love this place. I havent been here for 6 months, and I dont like what has happened to the menu. Everything is all fru-fru and plated that way as well like this is some sort of a 5 star restaurant. The prices have increased as well. Service was mediocre. I really dont care now if I return.

No comparison to maya berea. I had the shrimp.fajita. about 8 shrimp small compared to large about 20 maya. Extremely salty. Small portion and so much less flavor and take out just awful. Maya had wonderful take out with all the trimmings. Same price. Would never go back to Gran Fiesta Strongsville.

First time experience went like this: staff was dry, passive and unpleasant. Too pricey. Grease slathered all over the booth seat that I was to sit in. Horrible smell in there. Pretty bathroom, but sewer smell in there as well, clogged sink! Waiter wasnt knowledgeable. Never going back.

We have been dining with Gran Fiesta for the last five years or so. They have the best service and Mexican food Ive ever had in this area. The staff is extremely friendly and prompt, attending to your needs with a smile. And the margarita action is awesome! We love the place!

This place is absolutely the best. Food is great, drinks are strong and price is very reasonable. To top it off the staff is wonderful and make you feel at home the minute you walk in. Anyone who thinks differently is crazy. Will be going back again and again and again.
