I see the previous review was written in 2006. Its 2008... I have to say my experience was nothing like that review. Dinner for 2 was about 60 dollars without any type of liquor. Service was okay, that was the better part of the meal. My real problem with the business is that the food was poor quality compared to sushi restaurants in Monterey Park, Little Tokyo, Torrance or Sawtelle. For example: Tai Hei of Monterey Park; Fu Rai Bow of Little Tokyo; Katsu of Torrance and Blue Marlin of Sawtelle. The katsu at Dono was so tough, I couldnt chew through it. The toro was cheap, not doubt about it... you do get for what you pay for. I actually couldnt chew through it either and Im only in my late 20s. The color of the toro was light almost orange and I could of sworn that the color should be somewhat pink. For good sushi, I would recommend anywhere in Little Tokyo, Torrance or Sawtelle. As the name of the business says it all... Dont Know Sushi !!!

nt out of our way from where we live in Walnut to explore a new place and I can honestly say we couldnt have chosen better. Staff was very friendly and accommodating the sushi was some of the freshest Ive had in a while. The Salmon was buttery, and the yellowtail melted in my mouth. Tempura, miso and rolls were awesome! Overall the experience was well worth the travel. Everything was super fresh. Definitely would recommend this place.

The waitress is always so friendly and even though we go there only once in a while when we drive through chino hills, she remembers us. The food is always fresh and delicious. Their portions are very generous, and their sushi and sashimi are just outstanding. They have happy hour daily but were usually too late for it. This place is an all around good japanease restaurant.

Excellente cuisine japonaise très différente de se que lon trouve dans toute la région. Des plats qui changent du hamburger, salade cesar et autres club sandwich.

Best sushi in Chino Hills hands down. The fish is always very fresh. The yellow tail sashimi is my favorite followed by the autumn roll. The staff is incredibly friendly and remembers my wife and I by name :)

BAD SERVICE! Its a shame because the sushi is good but we sat and waited almost a hour to get our bill and it wasnt even packed. The waitress dropped off our order and never came back.

The owner wanted to charge our 2 yr old $14.99 just for being in the same table as us ordering all you can eat. Definitely have many more choices for sushi in Chino hills.

Been here several times. Food is great. Service is friendly & not overbearing. There are other Sushi places closer to my home, but I go out of my way to eat here...

I have NEVER paid $20 for 2 rolls, a rainbow and an avocado roll, and the fact that it took them 20 minutes to do so! HORRIBLE I will never go back.
