I have a suspicion that most people who actually have eaten here this is their 1st B-Dub experience if they actually came at all. Get your mind right, this is not a restaurant, this is not a bar, its a SPORTS BAR, where sports are to be watched and teams, players rooted for because we are fans, short for Fanatics. If youre looking for a quiet evening alone, just stay home. If youre looking for fine dining, also stay home, youre probably not sports fans anyhow. You can have a fun evening here if your game literally and figuratively. First off the place is bigger than I expected, knowing the location and area well, with a rearside back patio, decent dining area, tall tables near the bar, but a painfully small roughly 10 seat belly up. Parking sucked long before they opened and is part design and part proximity. For being so new the sidewalks and waiting are is kind of grungy, probably from lack of trashcans near McDonalds. TVs everywhere. Youll feel like Frys, but with San Diego not being a big sports town and so many people not from around here you get a dozen different jerseys and people coming to watch any of 20+ games across multiple sports. Yes they can be in your face, but only if you look up from your food. Different sizes and the most popular visible from most any seat in the house (except the bathroom, dont worry suggestion pending). This is part of the charm and not a hindrance on your experience. Lets get right to the point, WINGS. Its not called Buffalo Wild Fries. They are ahead of the franchised sports bar game having items like poutine, fried cheese curds, 2 widely popular, but very non California dishes Im not sure were all ready for. Their wings are large, meaty and first of all well cooked and seasoned. 2 dozen flavors, some subtly different in style, heat and nuances. I do like the chili scale showing reference, not proportional, but informative. Ive always been a lemon pepper or orginal kind of guy, but do like quite a few of their other sauces like Asian Zing or Habanero (mango or banana, cant remember) Fries are a bit of a let down with all the fried items that they do well. Spinach dip is a little runny, fried pita chips are a little chewy and crispy, cheesy dip works with the pretzel, but could use mustard and more salt (rock preferred). If it was legit Id eat it with anything. Pub style. Mozarella sticks are basic, marinara forgettable. Bacon cheddar stuffed jalapenos had no heat, no bacon flavor and really should have added some cream cheese. Poutine has potential to teach people as an introduction in the amazing dish which when done right rivals our beloved Carne Asada fries. Beer is beer, its not too local and its not craft, cold, but the barware isnt all that great in that beers get warm quicker than usual for those not pounding them. Selection is pretty good considering its a franchise that may not have the connections a more local place would have. Initially I thought they were overstaffed, but as this place fills on the weekends youll realize they have worked out the staffing kinks and do a good job of having the right amount of staff. Very well prepared your servers come around often enough and are pretty attentive. Payment is great for the skiddish as they default in splitting by chair, but can combine checks and whatnot. Very convenient. Bathrooms are pretty good considering many people bring their families here, there is a lot of traffic. Well stocked on napkins and wetnaps they are very open to accommodating your viewing needs to see any game they carry. Prices arent too bad for appetizers. The wraps are not healthy due to the sauce, but they are delicious. To have so many fried items they arent a greasy restaurant and its not too loud. The NTN Buzztime games are pretty good, but the trivia isnt easy for those who dont regularly test their memory and general knowledge skills. Quite a bit of history is needed.

Even a 1 star is too much!! Went to try out new location last night 7/29/14 and after being told the wait for 2 people was 10-15 minutes we took one of the little light-up discs that 4, YES FOUR, different hostesses gave us. After getting extremely irritated that the wait was now 45 minutes we were told they tried paging us over the system, which was a lie..and I proceeded to tell them the disc never went off and they just laughed saying they must have forgot to turn on and add to their list. I got extremely irritated and they said it would be a little while longer for a table to become available, even though we saw plenty of people AFTER us come in and were already being seated! I handed the disc back to the incompetent and clearly brand new staff and said I would never be back and that their service was TERRIBLE and they just laughed as we walked out. With this kind of staff, you wont have many repeat customers!

Really good wings and apps. The staff was very friendly and made my daughter feel really special. I tried their mango habanero wings and holy cow were they hot, but in a good way. The only downside is it can be pretty expensive, after tip I spent 50$ for some wings and sodas. Ive been to a place in Wisconsin that won awards for the worlds best wings before and B dubs is just as good as that place. So does that mean they have the worlds best wings? Theyre definately world-class thats for sure!

I crawled through an endless landscape of fire and brimstone. My entire existence flashed before my eyes. A blinding, all encompassing light descended from the sky, and I gazed upon the face of God. I felt my feet leave the floor and my body lift towards the heavens... until something pulled me back from the egde, the soft voice of a distant angel uttering the words: Sir, would you like some milk?. Serves me right for trying the Blazin Wings Challenge.

Horrible service! Never will return to this location sat at the booth for 15 minutes not so much as a Ill be right with you! Whoever is in charge needs to be fired because they are seriously the worst managers ever cause the 15 minutes we were there there was a minimum of 4 people standing at the front! For what? Does it take 4 people to seat people, I think not! Sincerely pissed off bww customers that will never return!

Rolled in at about 7 p.m. The place was not busy at all in the restaurant. The bar seemed pretty Lively but there were plenty of tables. Our server was helpful and nice but the food took forever to get to us. The wings were so so. The pulled pork sandwich was more of a pulled cheese sandwich with very little meat on it. Its surprising to get such slow service on a Friday night when the restaurant is virtually dead.

Im not sure who all these 1 star rating guests are being served by, but my guess is, its the same person. Maybe they need remedial training or a new profession but if you come in and ask to sit in Kellys section, not only will you get FIVE STAR SERVICE, but youll get the cutest and friendliest server BWW has on staff. By the way, the food is pretty good too!

The food is okay. The cocktails are pretty good. Last night was the first night that we received phenomenal service and attentiveness from the staff. Zach, thank you. Youre an incredible waiter for an establishment of this sort. Its B dubs. Lol go have a drink. Order some wings or a salad, Play some games on their complimentary tablets and hang out.
